When will filming resume?
No restart date has been announced in the cited coverage. The studios’ statement said they looked forward to continuing the project soon, but it did not set a timetable. That wording is not a confirmed return-to-filming date.
Will the pause change The Batman 2 release date?
The currently reported planned theatrical release date is February 18, 2028. It has not been confirmed whether the production pause will affect that date, so it should be treated as scheduled rather than guaranteed. Earlier delays preceded filming, which began in June 2026, but the current pause alone does not establish that another release-date change will happen.
