What is the banana G-SHOCK?
It is a BAIT x G-SHOCK collaboration built on the DW5600, not a banana-shaped watch. Yanko Design reports a yellow resin case and strap, brown speckling, and brown accents on the bezel and strap. How much was it, and where was it scheduled to launch?
The Gadgeteer reported an announced price of US$170. Its launch report said the rollout was scheduled to begin at BAIT Santa Ana on September 29, 2026, followed by BAIT Chapter stores and BAIT’s online store on September 30. These are reported launch details, not confirmation that the watch is still available. The same report said online stock was unconfirmed and no edition quantity had been announced. If you are considering the collaboration, weigh the design against the reported everyday functions and fit, then verify availability directly with the retailer. The banana colors, freckle pattern, mascot and packaging are the main distinction described in the coverage; no evidence here establishes a resale premium, investment value or superiority over another DW5600 edition.
