The 6 Best Suno Alternatives in 2026, by What You Need to Make

Mureka is the closest fit here for making full vocal songs and downloading them often. For multilingual vocals, consider ElevenLabs Music; for instrumentals and sound effects, Stable Audio 3.0; for scores and MIDI, AIVA; for video or podcast beds, Soundraw; and for short, lower-cost drafts, Google Flow Music.

These services do different jobs, so there is no single winner for every Suno user. This is a feature-and-terms comparison, not a current six-service listening test. Prices and plan details below were reported in a comparison that rechecked vendor pages on October 4, 2026; confirm the live plan, billing cadence, and license before paying.

Which Suno alternative fits your project?

  • Full songs and frequent downloads: Mureka, especially if MP3 is enough on the lower tier.
  • Vocal-led tracks in several languages: ElevenLabs Music, with careful attention to which app or plan you use.
  • Quick, short drafts: Google Flow Music, if its SynthID watermark and unclear commercial terms suit your project.
  • Instrumentals, sound effects, and DAW production: Stable Audio 3.0.
  • Scores and MIDI-based composition: AIVA.
  • Background music for video or podcasts: Soundraw.

The recommendations reflect documented capabilities and plan terms, not a ranking of sound quality. The comparison source notes that newer entries in its guide were not listening-tested, so its earlier testing does not establish a comparable current test of these six services. The comparison and its October 4, 2026 update are useful for plan details, but a feature list cannot tell you which generator’s sound you will prefer.

Compare the six options

Service Best fit and output Reported plan price Key limitation or decision point
Mureka Full vocal songs; frequent downloadable tracks Pro: $10/month, or $8/month billed yearly. Premier: $30/month, or $24/month billed yearly. Pro includes unlimited MP3 downloads; WAV and production exports require Premier.
ElevenLabs Music Vocal-led music, including multilingual generation Creator: $22/month, according to the comparison. Music generation uses a shared credits pool; app and web-plan terms differ.
Google Flow Music Short drafts and experiments Starter was reported at $8/month monthly or $6/month billed yearly in one comparison; another lists $6/month on annual billing. Tracks up to three minutes; SynthID watermarking and commercial-use terms need checking.
Stable Audio 3.0 Instrumentals, sound effects, and DAW workflows Hosted plans: Solo $12/month, Session $30/month, Producer $90/month, Studio $199/month. It does not generate vocals or lyrics. License terms depend on how and where you use the model.
AIVA Score and composition workflows, including MIDI Standard: €11/month; Pro: €33/month, both billed yearly. Rights differ by tier; Pro is the tier the comparison identifies for copyright ownership and monetization.
Soundraw Background music for video and podcasts Yearly-billed rates reported from $5.99/month for Creator to $17.49/month for Artist Unlimited. Downloads and streaming permissions vary by plan; vocals and complete songs are not its strength.

Prices are the amounts reported in the October 4, 2026 comparison, not guaranteed checkout prices; taxes may be additional. Google’s reported Starter price varies with billing cadence and across the comparison pages, so check the checkout total rather than assuming $6 is a monthly-billed rate. The comparison does not establish one universally cheapest service: credits, download limits, export formats, and usage rights change the value for each project. What each service offers

Mureka: the closest match for downloadable vocal songs

Mureka’s Pro tier is the most straightforward fit among these options if you want complete vocal songs and expect to keep downloading them: the comparison reports unlimited MP3 downloads on Pro. Its Premier tier adds WAV, up to 12 stems, MIDI, and DAW session downloads. That makes Premier more relevant if you plan to continue production in a DAW, while Pro is the less expensive route when MP3 files meet your needs. The trade-off noted in the comparison is that Mureka offers fewer editing features than Suno, and WAV is not included in the cheaper tier. Plan and feature details.

ElevenLabs Music: multilingual vocals, with plan-surface caveats

The comparison describes ElevenLabs Music as supporting English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and other languages, with section editing. It identifies Creator at $22/month as the least expensive tier for Spotify and Apple Music release. Treat that figure and eligibility as a starting point, not a blanket promise: the sources describe differences between the web plan table and the separate ElevenMusic app, including free-tier use and downloads. Music generation also draws from a shared credits pool, so the practical cost depends on what else uses those credits. Check the precise product surface, export allowance, and release terms before choosing a plan. The alternatives comparison and the pricing comparison.

Google Flow Music: short drafts, but verify price and usage rights

Flow Music is described as generating tracks up to three minutes and offering downloads and stem splitting. Its reported Starter pricing is inconsistent across the comparison pages: one gives $8/month on monthly billing or $6/month annually, while another reports $6/month on annual billing. Confirm the actual billing cadence and checkout amount. The comparison also describes SynthID watermarking and says the pricing page does not make commercial terms explicit. If the track is for a client, a monetized video, or another commercial project, do not assume that a download alone grants the rights you need. Stable Audio 3.0: choose it for instrumentals and production assets

Stable Audio is a specialist rather than a like-for-like vocal-song replacement: Stability AI says it does not generate vocals or lyrics. The company describes use for instrumental music, sound effects, and DAW workflows, and says three of its four model variants can be self-hosted. Its hosted plans are listed at $12/month for Solo, $30/month for Session, $90/month for Producer, and $199/month for Studio. These are vendor-listed plan prices; check the current plan page and applicable license before use. Stability AI’s Community License, output-ownership statements, self-hosting options, and enterprise threshold may matter for commercial work, and their applicability depends on the user’s circumstances and the current license. Stability AI’s licensing, exports, and self-hosting comparison.

AIVA: composition and MIDI, not a vocal-pop substitute

AIVA is aimed at score and composition workflows. The comparison reports Standard at €11/month and Pro at €33/month, both billed yearly. It describes Pro as granting copyright ownership and full monetization, while Free and Standard have different rights. If ownership or commercial use matters, read the terms for the exact plan and intended use instead of treating “commercial use” as a universal property of AI-generated music. AIVA is a better fit when composition tools and MIDI matter more than generating a finished vocal song. The alternatives comparison.

Soundraw: background tracks for creator projects

Soundraw is the narrower choice for background music in videos and podcasts, rather than complete vocal songs. The comparison describes a worldwide perpetual license for tracks and plan-specific download allowances; it also says streaming distribution requires an Artist plan. Its reported yearly-billed prices range from $5.99/month for Creator to $17.49/month for Artist Unlimited. Confirm the current license, download allowance, and whether your intended use includes streaming distribution before subscribing. The alternatives comparison.

How to choose by exports, rights, and billing

Before subscribing, match the plan to the file you need to keep and the place you intend to publish it. A generator that makes a suitable draft may still be the wrong choice if the tier excludes WAV, limits downloads, consumes credits faster than expected, or does not grant the rights your project requires.

  1. Define the deliverable. Decide whether you need a finished vocal song, an instrumental bed, a score, stems, MIDI, or a DAW session. These options do not all produce the same kind of output.
  2. Check the export allowance. Confirm file formats, download caps, stem or MIDI access, and whether your chosen tier lets you retain the files you generate.
  3. Match rights to the use. Check the specific plan and product surface for client work, monetization, streaming release, and other intended publication. Do not treat output ownership, a perpetual license, or a download as interchangeable guarantees.
  4. Calculate the real recurring cost. Compare the monthly-billed checkout price with the annual commitment, then account for shared credits and download limits. Confirm whether taxes are added.
  5. Audition the sound yourself. Generate comparable prompts and listen for the qualities your project needs; published feature and plan descriptions do not establish a current head-to-head quality result.

Rights language deserves particular care. Stability AI’s licensing statements describe its own products and licenses, while other services have their own plan-specific terms. More broadly, an Associated Press report quoted Suno CEO Mikey Shulman saying the company believed working with the music industry was the way forward; that is a statement of company posture, not proof that licensing or copyright questions are resolved. Warner Music Group’s 2025 partnership announcement says artists and songwriters will have control over whether and how their names, images, likenesses, voices, and compositions are used in new AI-generated music. That announcement describes a commitment, not proof of every current product term. See the Associated Press report and Warner Music Group’s announcement.

Why Udio is not on this shortlist

The comparison sources report that Udio downloads have been disabled since October 29, 2025. That makes it a poor fit for this list’s readers who need exportable files, regardless of how they rate its generation features. The status is reported by the alternatives comparison and the pricing comparison; check current service terms if download access is central to your decision.
