TXSE is a regulated national securities exchange and began production trading on July 31, 2026. It has announced upcoming exchange listings and corporate transfer activity, but the official TXSE materials cited here do not substantiate the headline’s $80 billion figure or explain what it measures.

What the Texas Stock Exchange is—and whether it is operating

The Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) is a fully electronic national securities exchange headquartered in Dallas. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved its Form 1 registration on September 30, 2025; the Texas State Securities Board also posted an order recognizing the exchange. TXSE’s approval announcement and the Texas State Securities Board’s notice document those milestones.

Approval, trading, and securities listings are different steps. TXSE reported that production trading began on July 31, 2026, after it phased in National Market System symbols. The company said it had more than 50 member firms at that point. Those facts establish that the exchange is operating; they do not mean every announced listing has already taken effect. TXSE’s launch notice describes the rollout and its planned sequence.

What the $80 billion figure does—and does not—mean

The official TXSE approval, trading-launch and readiness announcements, along with its listing material, do not state that the exchange has drawn $80 billion in listings. They also do not define a total of that size as market capitalization, listing proceeds, assets, estimated company value, or another measure. On the evidence available in those materials, the headline figure is unverified, not an established measure of TXSE’s activity.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

That distinction matters: the value of companies that announce a possible transfer would not automatically be money raised by TXSE or proceeds from listings. A defensible $80 billion total would need an attributable source, a defined metric, the companies or products counted, a valuation date, and clarity about whether the activity is completed or merely planned. The absence of that detail in the cited official sources is not proof that the number has never appeared elsewhere; it means the figure should not be repeated as fact without its original, checkable basis.

Corporate securities and transfer notices

TXSE’s listing page, viewed October 3, 2026, displayed new-listing alerts dated October 2 for Texas Capital Bancshares, October 1 for The Charles Schwab Corporation, and September 28 for Sunoco LP. Its media-center index also listed announcements involving Dillard’s and Origin Bancorp. These are reported listing or transfer announcements, not enough on their own to establish that every transfer was effective by October 3. Check the relevant issuer’s investor-relations release or formal listing notice for the effective date and security details. TXSE’s listing page and media center provide the dated notices.

How the launch sequence unfolded

TXSE’s timeline moved from formation plans to regulatory approval and then staged market activity. Its later notices provide the more specific schedule:

  • June 5, 2024: TXSE Group announced plans for a fully electronic national exchange headquartered in Dallas and said it would seek SEC registration. The announcement named BlackRock and Citadel Securities among investors in its initial capital raise. Read the formation announcement.
  • September 30, 2025: TXSE announced SEC approval of its Form 1 registration; the state securities board separately confirmed approval and linked relevant orders.
  • July 31, 2026: TXSE said production trading was underway. At the time, it forecast ETP listings in late Q3, corporate transfers in Q4, and IPOs in 2027.
  • September 10, 2026: TXSE set September 16 for primary ETP listings and October 5 for corporate securities in a readiness notice.
  • September 28–October 2, 2026: TXSE’s listing page showed the dated Sunoco, Schwab, and Texas Capital alerts.

The September readiness notice refined the broad timing given in July. TXSE’s July release projected IPOs for 2027; the cited later notices do not establish that an IPO had already occurred.

What TXSE offers issuers—and what remains unproven

TXSE presents itself as an alternative exchange focused on issuer alignment, transparency, and partnership. Those are the company’s stated aims, not demonstrated outcomes. In its September 2025 approval announcement, Chairman and CEO James H Lee said, “Today’s approval marks a pivotal moment in our effort to build a world-class exchange rooted in alignment, transparency, and partnership with issuers and investors.”

At the July 2026 launch, Lee said, “TXSE is now firmly a part of the global market structure.” President and Global Head of Trading Cameron Smith said, “We’ve created a world class system that can process billions of messages, reliably, with ultra-low latencies.” These are TXSE executives’ statements; the quoted technology claim is not independent performance testing.

For an issuer comparing TXSE with NYSE or Nasdaq, relevant questions include listing and annual fees, transfer terms, listing standards, governance requirements, issuer services, market access, liquidity, and the exchange’s operating history. The cited TXSE announcements establish approval, trading, and announced listing activity, but do not provide a like-for-like comparison of those terms or evidence of resulting savings, liquidity gains, or investor outcomes. Its competitive positioning should be treated as a proposal to assess, not proof of superiority.
