Braucht man für die Teufel ULTIMA 25 AKTIV 2 einen Verstärker?
Nein. Ein integrierter Class-D-Verstärker treibt beide Lautsprecher an. Teufel gibt die Gesamtleistung mit 100 W RMS an, aufgeteilt in 2 × 50 W RMS bei 4 Ohm. Das sind Herstellerangaben, keine unabhängigen Messwerte. „Spielfertig: kein Verstärker nötig“, schreibt Teufel auf der Produktseite.

Wichtig ist die Bauart: Es handelt sich nicht um zwei separat verstärkte Lautsprecher. Der aktive Lautsprecher enthält Verstärker und Anschlüsse; der passive wird über das mitgelieferte Lautsprecherkabel mit ihm verbunden. Das Paar ist somit eine kompakte Alternative zu passiven Regallautsprechern plus separatem Stereo-Verstärker, aber kein System aus zwei unabhängig aufstellbaren Aktivboxen.

TV: HDMI ARC/CEC oder optisch
HDMI ARC/CEC ist der naheliegende Anschluss für den Fernseher. Teufel nennt außerdem die Steuerung über die TV-Fernbedienung via HDMI-CEC. Das setzt voraus, dass Fernseher und Verbindung ARC/CEC unterstützen und die entsprechende Funktion eingerichtet ist. Falls Sie mehrere HDMI-Geräte anschließen möchten, sollten Sie nicht davon ausgehen, dass die Lautsprecher als HDMI-Umschaltzentrale dienen: Teufel listet einen HDMI-Eingang mit ARC/CEC. Optisch ist eine weitere digitale Verbindungsmöglichkeit.
Musik, Computer und Plattenspieler
Für kabellose Wiedergabe ist Bluetooth vorgesehen. Am PC oder Mac kann USB-C laut Support-FAQ als Soundkarte genutzt werden. Analoge Geräte lassen sich über Stereo-RCA/AUX anschließen; bei einem Plattenspieler muss dessen Signal zuvor durch einen Phono-Vorverstärker geführt werden, sofern ein solcher nicht bereits im Plattenspieler integriert ist.

Radio und Bedienung: mehr als reine Zuspieler-Lautsprecher
Die Lautsprecher haben DAB+ und UKW-Radio integriert; Teufel nennt sechs Senderspeicher. Zur Bedienung führt der Hersteller die Tasten am Lautsprecher, die mitgelieferte Infrarot-Fernbedienung und – über HDMI-CEC – die TV-Fernbedienung auf. Passt das Paar auf ein Regal oder in ein TV-Setup?
Teufel nennt für den aktiven Lautsprecher Maße von 21,5 × 36,5 × 26 cm und ein Gewicht von 8,5 kg. Der passive Lautsprecher ist 24 cm tief und wiegt 6 kg. Das sind relevante Werte, wenn die Boxen in ein Regal oder auf ein Möbel neben dem Fernseher sollen; prüfen Sie insbesondere Tiefe, Standfläche und Tragfähigkeit des Aufstellorts.

Zum Lieferumfang gehören laut Produktseite ein 5 m langes Lautsprecherkabel und ein 1,5 m langes Netzkabel. Die Kabellängen beeinflussen, wo der aktive Lautsprecher – mit Stromanschluss und den übrigen Verbindungen – stehen kann. Teufel nennt außerdem ein M6-Gewinde für Ständer- oder Wandmontage. Vor der Montage sollten Sie prüfen, ob die konkrete Halterung passt und die Befestigung für Wand, Lautsprechergewicht und Einbausituation sicher ist.
Die veröffentlichten akustischen Kennwerte sind ein Frequenzbereich von 41 bis 20.000 Hz und ein maximaler Schalldruck von 104 dB in 1 m Entfernung. Teufel veröffentlicht diese Werte als Produktspezifikationen; sie sind keine unabhängigen Labormessungen und sagen für sich allein nicht aus, wie die Lautsprecher in einem bestimmten Raum klingen.

Kann man einen Subwoofer oder Rear-Lautsprecher anschließen?
Teufel nennt als Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten ein zusätzliches Paar EFFEKT 2 für die hinteren Kanäle sowie die Subwoofer T 8, T 10 und T 4000 Wireless. Die Produktseite zeigt außerdem eine ULTIMA 25 AKTIV 2 Club Edition mit T 10 Mk2. Prüfen Sie vor dem Kauf die genaue Generation, den erforderlichen Anschluss und die Kompatibilität der gewählten Kombination; die Support-Angaben zu möglichen Erweiterungen ersetzen keine Prüfung der konkreten Konfiguration.
Was ist gegenüber der vorherigen ULTIMA 25 AKTIV neu?
Teufel beschreibt die AKTIV 2 als überarbeitete Version mit neu gestaltetem Erscheinungsbild, FSC-zertifiziertem MDF für Gehäuse und Front, modernisierter Fernbedienung, erweitertem Lieferumfang, längeren Kabeln und acht Resonanzdämpfern. Laut Support waren die Kabel beim Vorgängermodell 1,2 m (Netz) und 3,5 m (Lautsprecher); bei der AKTIV 2 gibt Teufel 1,5 m beziehungsweise 5 m an. Das sind vom Hersteller beschriebene Änderungen, keine unabhängige Bewertung ihrer Auswirkungen.
