Tenba’s DNA v2 is a four-size shoulder-bag lineup with vintage-inspired styling and space for camera gear plus a tablet or laptop, depending on the model. Choose by your complete camera-and-lens kit and computer dimensions—not by appearance alone. The reported finishes and zippers are water-repellent, and each bag includes a reversible rain cover; those features do not establish that the bags are waterproof.
What is new about the Tenba DNA v2 line?
Tenba presents DNA v2 as a professional camera-protection range with a look inspired by film-era bags. Digital Camera World reported the launch on 1 October 2026, describing four shoulder-bag sizes offered in black or blue. The coverage names Fujifilm X-series cameras, Nikon Zf and Z fc bodies, and Leica M cameras as examples of the style of kit the bags suit—not an exclusive compatibility list. Tenba’s own vintage-inspired positioning is on its homepage.
The retro appearance is a design choice, not evidence of hands-on comfort, durability, or weather testing. The launch report and Tenba’s product listing describe features and intended capacity; neither establishes independent performance results.
Which DNA v2 size fits your camera kit?
Digital Camera World’s launch report gives the following capacities. Treat them as manufacturer-reported fit guidance: actual fit depends on your specific body, lens dimensions, dividers, and how you pack.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

| DNA v2 Shoulder Bag 14 | Mirrorless or DSLR with 3–5 lenses; an unattached 70–200mm f/2.8 is listed | Laptop up to 14 inches | A mid-sized kit and laptop |

The 16 Pro is the largest stated capacity, not simply a larger laptop version of the 16. Tenba’s US listing specifies its exterior dimensions as 16.75 × 11 × 8 inches and its interior dimensions as 14.75 × 10.5 × 6 inches; its listed weight is 3.1 lb / 1.4 kg. These figures apply to the 16 Pro. Check your own gear against the interior measurements, especially if using a grip or a long lens. The listing also states a five-year warranty. See Tenba’s DNA 16 Pro product page for its current specification and listing.
Check your whole load before choosing
- Camera body size, including any attached grip.
- Your largest lens and whether you want to carry it attached to the camera.
- Total lens count, alongside batteries and other accessories you need to fit.
- The computer’s actual dimensions; screen size alone does not guarantee fit.
- Bag interior and exterior dimensions, weight, and preferred access style.
- Whether the included rain cover meets your needs for the conditions in which you carry the bag.
What protection and access features are described?
Digital Camera World reports that the bags use brushed polyester twill with a durable water-repellent finish on the outer face and a double PU coating on the reverse. It also reports water-repellent exterior zippers. These are stated material and design features, not the results of an independent rain test. The report says each model includes a reversible silver-and-black rain cover; the silver side is intended to reflect sunlight on hot days.

For the 16 Pro, Tenba lists a three-stage dual-zipper top and a flap that can fold back and attach to the interior side wall. The product page also describes a memory-foam shoulder pad with a silicone-coated non-slip grip, a hidden Bluetooth-tracker pocket compatible with AirTag and Tile, and a removable reversible rain cover. These specifications do not establish how comfortable the bag is for a particular wearer or how it performs in prolonged exposure to rain.
