Both have a 6.67-inch 120Hz HD+ display, a 5000mAh battery, and IP54-rated protection. The right choice depends on the exact regional configuration and price—not the model names alone.

Which phone has the better display and battery?
On TECNO’s official pages, neither has a listed advantage in display size, resolution, refresh rate, or battery capacity: both are specified with a 6.67-inch 720 × 1600 display running at 120Hz and a 5000mAh battery. The higher refresh rate can make supported scrolling and animations appear smoother than a lower-refresh screen, but it does not establish which phone lasts longer on a charge. Battery life depends on use and settings; comparable controlled battery tests for these exact 4G models are not established here.

The listed charging rates differ: 18W for the Spark 30C and 15W for the POP 9. Those numbers describe the specified charging rates, not measured charging times. Both phones carry an IP54 rating, which is not a claim that either is waterproof.

How do the cameras compare?
The Spark 30C has a listed 50MP rear camera, compared with 13MP on the POP 9; both official pages list an 8MP front camera. The Spark therefore has the higher rear-camera resolution on paper. Megapixels alone do not establish image quality, especially in low light or when comparing processing, focus, and video, and no comparable controlled camera test for these two models is established here.
What do Android, processor, and memory specs mean?
TECNO lists Android 14 and a G81 processor for the Spark 30C, while the POP 9 page lists Android 14 Go and a T615 processor. These are different software editions and processor names. The specifications alone do not prove that one phone is faster in everyday use; that would require comparable testing of the exact regional models.

The available RAM combinations vary by market, and promotional RAM totals may include extended or virtual RAM in addition to installed physical memory. Compare the physical RAM and storage in the exact listing rather than treating an extended-RAM figure as installed RAM.

Why do some listings show different POP 9 specifications?
TECNO’s official POP 9 page lists a T615 processor and a 120Hz screen. The 91mobiles comparison page and Gadgets360 instead list a Helio G50 and a 90Hz screen for the POP 9 4G. For the Spark 30C, the official page lists G81; Gadgets360 identifies Helio G81. The conflict means third-party listings should not be treated as a universal specification. Regional variants or listing errors may account for the differences; check the model and specifications shown by TECNO for your market before buying.

Choose the Spark 30C 4G if:
- You want the higher listed rear-camera resolution.
- You value its 18W listed charging rate over the POP 9’s 15W.
- You prefer its listed Android 14 and G81 configuration, subject to confirming your local SKU.
- The price difference is acceptable for the configuration you are comparing.
Consider the POP 9 4G if:
- It is substantially cheaper in your market and the savings matter more than the Spark’s higher listed camera resolution and charging rate.
- Your needs are basic everyday use, a large 120Hz display, and a 5000mAh battery.
- You want the dual speakers identified on TECNO’s POP 9 product page.
Before checkout, confirm the network version, storage, installed RAM, seller, warranty, and included accessories in your country. Do not assume a price advantage from an older comparison snapshot or assume extended RAM is physical RAM.
