The right choice depends on which features matter more, the exact regional configuration, and the price available from a seller today.

Which display is better for you?
Choose POVA Curve 2 for a higher listed refresh rate
The POVA Curve 2 is listed with a 144Hz refresh rate, compared with 120Hz for the Note Edge. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion appear smoother, but actual behavior depends on software, content and settings. It does not mean every app or task will run at that rate.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsChoose Note Edge for more display pixels
Both screens are listed at 6.78 inches, but the Note Edge has a higher listed resolution: 1208 × 2644 (1.5K), versus 1080 × 2364 (FHD+) on the POVA Curve 2. That gives the Note Edge more pixels for text and fine detail. The practical difference also depends on what you view and how you use the phone.

Battery capacity and charging
The comparison lists an 8,000mAh battery for the POVA Curve 2 and a 6,500mAh battery for the Note Edge, with 45W charging for both. The POVA Curve 2 therefore has the larger stated capacity, but capacity alone cannot establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use. Screen settings, signal strength, software and workload all affect runtime; no comparative battery test is available here.
Performance: same chipset name, not a proven tie
Both phones are listed with the MediaTek Dimensity 7100. TECNO specifies a 6nm process and a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz for the POVA Curve 2. The shared chipset name is useful for narrowing the comparison, but it is not enough to claim the phones perform identically: memory configuration, cooling, software and device tuning can matter. No independent benchmark comparison is established in the cited data.
Cameras: compare more than megapixels
The listed rear setup is 50MP plus 2MP on the POVA Curve 2 and a 50MP rear camera on the Note Edge; both list a 13MP front camera. These figures describe resolution and camera count, not photo quality. The available comparison data does not establish which phone takes better photos or video, so look for sample images and testing of the exact regional models before making camera quality the deciding factor.

IP rating, dimensions and handling
Gadgets 360 lists the Note Edge as IP65-rated, with dimensions of 163.10 × 77.40 × 7.20mm and a weight of 185g. TECNO lists the POVA Curve 2 at 162.7 × 77.2 × 7.42mm, but the cited comparison does not provide an IP rating for it. Missing rating information is not proof that the phone has no protection; check the manufacturer’s documentation for the precise variant before relying on water or dust resistance.
Software and update support
The listed software versions are Android 16-based HiOS 16 for the POVA Curve 2 and Android 16 / XOS 16 for the Note Edge. Third-party comparison results conflict on update commitments, so the available information does not support a reliable head-to-head promise about how many Android-version or security updates either will receive. Confirm the commitment with TECNO or Infinix for the country and model variant you plan to buy.

- Gadgets 360 listed the Infinix Note Edge in India on 2026-10-07 at ₹23,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹25,999 for 8GB/256GB. The same listing showed ₹26,999 for 6GB/128GB, an apparent anomaly that should be checked against the live offer. Gadgets 360 Note Edge India price listing
- A 91mobiles comparison search result referenced Amazon prices of ₹26,899 for the POVA Curve 2 and ₹24,999 for the Note Edge. The result does not reliably establish matching storage configurations or a current price gap, so it is not a sound basis for calculating which phone is cheaper today. 91mobiles comparison
For a fair purchase comparison, match the country, RAM and storage, seller, warranty terms and date. Compare the same capacity wherever possible, and verify the checkout price rather than relying on a search-result snapshot.
Which phone should you choose?
Pick the POVA Curve 2 if your priorities are
- The larger listed battery capacity.
- A higher listed refresh rate.
- A specific POVA Curve 2 configuration that is competitively priced in your market.
Pick the Note Edge if your priorities are
- The higher listed display resolution.
- An IP65 rating reported in the comparison data.
- A Note Edge configuration whose verified local price suits your budget.
Before buying either model, check the exact regional variant, memory configuration, seller price and manufacturer’s software-support and protection details. On the evidence available, the meaningful distinction is battery capacity and refresh rate versus display resolution and a reported IP rating—not a universal winner.
