No—the reported $385.99 Newegg offer for TEAMGROUP’s 4TB T-FORCE G50 EVO is no longer available. Wccftech reported the price on October 5, 2026, after promo code APC852; by October 7, Slickdeals marked that deal expired and Newegg showed a different price and code. Treat $385.99 as a past promotion, not a price you can count on today.
What happened to the $385.99 Newegg offer?
Wccftech reported the T-FORCE G50 EVO 4TB at $455.99 before a $70 discount with code APC852, bringing the reported October 5, 2026 price to $385.99. Slickdeals later marked that offer expired. In a Newegg listing observed October 7, the drive was shown at $495.99 with a different page offer: $56 off using code FTTF9875. These are dated observations, not a guarantee of the price, eligibility, or stock when you visit.

| Specification | TEAMGROUP-listed detail |
|---|---|
| Model and part number | T-FORCE G50 EVO 4TB; TM8FGQ004T0C129 |
| Form factor and interface | M.2 2280; PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe |
| Sequential read | Up to 5,000 MB/s; TEAMGROUP says this figure is based on internal laboratory testing. |
| Sequential write | Up to 4,700 MB/s; a manufacturer rating, not an independent benchmark result. |
| NAND and cache design | 3D QLC NAND, SLC caching and Host Memory Buffer (HMB); no DRAM cache listed. |
| Endurance rating | 1,200 TBW (terabytes written). |
| Limited warranty | Three years, or until the stated TBW limit is reached, whichever comes first, according to TEAMGROUP. |
TEAMGROUP cautions that transmission speed varies with hardware and software. The rated sequential figures therefore describe the manufacturer’s stated maximums, not a promise of the speed in every computer or workload. The product specifications do not establish independent performance results or sustained write behavior.

Will this SSD fit your PC or laptop?
Before buying, confirm that your system has an available M.2 2280 slot supporting PCIe NVMe. M.2 describes the physical module and connector style; it does not by itself confirm that a slot supports NVMe or PCIe. Check your computer or motherboard manual for the slot’s supported drive types and installation requirements. TEAMGROUP describes compatibility with most desktops and laptops, not every system.
The drive is PCIe Gen4 x4. If your system supports a different PCIe generation, verify the device’s documented compatibility and expected operation with the system maker; the available product information does not specify performance in a particular older or newer slot.

What do QLC, HMB and the listed features mean?
QLC NAND and SLC caching
TEAMGROUP identifies the drive’s flash as 3D QLC NAND and lists SLC caching. These are design details: the product page does not provide independent measurements showing how they affect performance under a specific workload. Do not read the sequential maximums as a guarantee of sustained write speed after a cache is exhausted.

TEAMGROUP lists Host Memory Buffer and does not list a DRAM cache for this model. That describes the cache design, but is not by itself a benchmark or a prediction of performance in your particular system.

Thermal, monitoring and error-correction features
TEAMGROUP also lists a thin graphene heat spreader, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring, LDPC error correction and Windows TRIM support. These are manufacturer-described features; the listing does not establish independent thermal or reliability test results.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the drive worth considering?
The reported $385.99 promotion was a time-limited offer, and the October 7 listing observation was higher. Whether the SSD is a good buy at a later price depends on the total price available then and on how it compares with other 4TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 drives. No current, date-matched comparison or independent testing establishes that this model is the cheapest or best option. For your decision, weigh the live checkout price against the rated capacity, QLC/HMB design, 1,200 TBW endurance rating, warranty terms and your system’s slot requirements.
