Troubleshooting when live channels won’t play
When live playback fails, the fix is usually one of: connection instability, stale app data, a device networking issue, or a temporary service outage.
1) Confirm the problem is specific to TCLtv+
Try another live app (or another TCLtv+ channel). If other apps stream fine, you can focus on TCLtv+ specifically.
2) Restart the app (fastest first step)
- Open Settings on Google TV.

4) Reboot your Google TV device
A full restart fixes network handshakes and some DNS issues. Unplugging briefly isn’t required, but a reboot is.
- Hold the Power button on the remote.
