TCL’s U.S. product page currently lists the 98-inch QM8L (model 98QM8L) at $2,999.99, compared with a displayed $5,999.99 price—a $3,000 reduction, or about 50%. That is TCL’s current displayed price comparison, not confirmation of an Amazon Prime Day offer. The available sources do not establish an Amazon listing, stock, delivery, or installation terms, so verify those details with the retailer before buying.
What the 50% price comparison means
The $2,999.99 price and $5,999.99 comparison price appear on TCL’s U.S. product page. The arithmetic works out to a $3,000 difference, exactly half the displayed comparison price. TCL’s corrected October 6, 2026 promotional release also lists the TV at $2,999.99 and says prices are subject to change. View TCL’s product page or read TCL’s October promotion release.

This does not verify that Amazon is selling the TV for $2,999.99. Check the exact model number, live price, stock, shipping, and any delivery or installation charges on the retailer’s listing; a large TV’s final cost and feasibility can depend on those terms.
Why the Prime Day wording needs a date
TCL’s June 23, 2026 announcement listed the 98-inch QM8L at $4,499.99 for a June 23–26 Prime Day promotion. That was an earlier offer, not the October $2,999.99 price. The cited sources establish TCL’s use of “Prime Day” for the June campaign and its October fall-deal messaging, but do not establish an October Prime Day event or a current Amazon offer.
