For a useful comparison, check the basis of any room-size claim alongside rated cooling capacity. The 3.6 kW rating is a more specific published specification, but it still does not establish the temperature this unit will achieve in a particular room.

The commenter praised ease of installation and use and said it cooled a small room, but complained that it was “pretty noisy”; the same comment also disputed the operation of eco and vertical-fan modes. Does it need a window hose?
Yes. It uses a single-duct exhaust, so hot air needs to be directed out through a suitable opening. TCL’s specification sheet lists the exhaust hose, hose inlet and outlet, window slider kit and remote control as included accessories. Check the slider kit against your window type and dimensions before buying; a listed kit does not establish fit for every window.
