To trade with a customer in TCG Card Shop Simulator, look for someone beside the Checkout Counter with a red exclamation mark overhead, then approach and interact with them. That is the customer-trading flow documented in the game’s build 0.50 notes; the developer also lists customer card trades as a feature in the 1.0 release. The current offer screen is the guide to the choices available in your game.
How do I trade with customers in TCG Card Shop Simulator?
- Watch the Checkout Counter. Look for a customer standing beside it with a red exclamation mark overhead.
- Approach and interact with the customer. The documented interaction starts the request to sell or trade a card.
- Review the offer shown in your current game. Use the on-screen prompt to decide what to do; the published notes do not specify the exact controls or provide a valuation formula. If wording or controls differ from this description, follow the current in-game prompt.
The location and signal come from the 21 November 2024 build 0.50 notes, so treat them as the documented flow rather than a guarantee that every interface detail is unchanged. The developer’s 1.0 announcement still lists “Customer trade cards” among the game’s completed features.

How do I know when a customer wants to sell or trade a card?
The documented cue is a red exclamation mark above a customer beside the Checkout Counter. Interact with that customer to open the request. The notes do not describe a separate alert, schedule, or guaranteed wait time.

Yes, according to the build 0.50 notes: they say the chance of a customer asking to sell or trade a card increases with shop level. They do not give a percentage, a minimum level, or a timetable, so leveling up should not be treated as a promise that a trading customer will appear immediately. See the dated build 0.50 notes.

How should I decide whether to accept a sale or card trade?
Compare what the current offer screen actually shows with what you want from the transaction. Cash may matter more if you need money for shop operations; a card may matter more if it helps your collection. Those are player priorities, not fixed advantages established by the game’s published notes.
The official materials reviewed do not explain how asking prices or card-for-card values are calculated, or whether rarity, condition, market value, or inventory affects an offer. They also do not establish a universal profit rule. Avoid assuming a trade is favorable based on a particular card trait unless the game itself gives you enough information to make that comparison.

Is customer trading the same as playing Tetramon TCG?
No. Customer trading is a shop interaction around the Checkout Counter. Playing Tetramon TCG is a separate match with a customer waiting at the play table. In its 1.0 announcement, OPNeon Games describes those matches as lasting 3–5 minutes and says the shop continues operating while you play. The developer’s 1.0 announcement and the current Steam listing provide the broader release context: version 1.0 launched on 14 September 2026, following Early Access that began on 15 September 2024.
