What the latest confirmed filing tells investors
TARIL is Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited, an Indian-listed manufacturer of transformers and reactors. The official filing located in this review is for Q1 FY27; it should not be mistaken for the September quarter. The company’s April 21, 2026 press release reported FY26 revenue from operations of approximately ₹2,395 crore. It also reported an unexecuted order book of around ₹5,005 crore as of March 31, 2026. The order book is operating context, not a promise that all orders will convert into revenue on a particular schedule. Neither that figure nor FY26 revenue verifies the claimed Q2 growth.

How to judge the Q2 result when it is filed
Once the September-quarter statements are available, use like-for-like figures and read the profit growth alongside revenue, margins and cash generation. A large percentage increase can be amplified by a low comparison base; the rupee amounts for both periods matter as much as the growth rate.

Confirm that the document is the approved Q2 filing and whether it reports standalone or consolidated results. Compare it with the same basis for the September 2025 quarter.
- Compare the underlying figures. Review revenue from operations, profit before tax and profit after tax for both quarters. Confirm what “revenue” means in the headline rather than assuming it is revenue from operations.
- Look at margins and exceptional items. A higher profit is more informative when considered against revenue and the effects of any exceptional items disclosed in the statements.
- Check cash flow and working capital, if disclosed. These can add context to accounting profit and the company’s operating performance.
- Separate company performance from share-price performance. An accounting result alone does not establish how the share price will move.
What cannot yet be concluded
The available evidence does not establish TARIL’s Q2 net profit, year-on-year growth rate, revenue growth, auditor’s limited-review findings or management’s explanation of the quarter. It therefore does not support a definitive good-or-bad verdict on Q2.
