Talking Tom & Friends and SmileyWorld have announced a global partnership planned to begin in 2027, spanning games and a dedicated co-branded retail range. The announcement does not yet name participating games, products, retailers, territories or launch dates, so specific events and merchandise are not confirmed.
What the 2027 partnership includes
The Smiley Company, which owns SmileyWorld, and Outfit7, the creator of Talking Tom & Friends, describe the arrangement as a global partnership covering games, licensing and a collectible co-branded retail range. Further retail categories may follow, according to the announcement carried by industry publication Licensing International on 30 September 2026. Licensing International’s announcement is the available source for those details; its page could not be independently opened for this report.
“Global” describes the announced partnership, but the announcement does not list the countries or markets where games or retail products will be available. Nor does it give an exact launch day in 2027.
What has not been announced
The announcement does not identify a participating game, in-game event or feature, or any specific retail item. It also names no product category, SKU, retailer, territory, price or purchase link. That means players cannot yet tell which games will feature the collaboration, and shoppers cannot yet identify a confirmed co-branded product to buy.

When further details appear, the useful checks will be the game and platform, event dates and content, product type, market, retailer, and whether the item is explicitly branded as part of the partnership.
Why 2027 matters to SmileyWorld
The collaboration coincides with SmileyWorld’s 30th-anniversary activity in 2027. The Smiley Company’s 2026 announcement describes the brand as marking 30 years of Smiley icons and says its creative library contains more than 3,000 icons. Those figures are company claims, not independently audited counts.

The brand connection is framed around expressive characters: SmileyWorld contributes its visual language, while Talking Tom & Friends is known for characters whose appeal includes emotional expression. The announced scope places that identity in games and a retail collection, without yet specifying how it will appear in either.
Do not confuse this with other Talking Tom toys
Outfit7 has separately announced a U.S. Talking Tom Heroes: Suddenly Super toy range featuring plush toys, action figures and vehicles, alongside an Amazon Kids+ partnership. That announcement concerns a distinct superhero series; it does not establish that those toys belong to the SmileyWorld collaboration. Outfit7’s announcement about Talking Tom Heroes: Suddenly Super
