Short answer: the Deluxe Edition adds three digital bonus groups—the Battle BGM Pack, Digital Artbook & Soundtrack, and Super Growth Support Item Set—but official pages do not document an expiring claim window. No verified universal promo code or in-game code-entry process has been published. Most importantly, Nintendo says save data cannot be shared between the Nintendo Switch version and the separate Nintendo Switch 2 version, even though Nintendo Switch Online Save Data Cloud support is listed for the Switch product.

Standard Edition versus Deluxe Edition
The Standard Edition contains the base game. The digital-only Deluxe Edition contains the base game plus three documented bonus groups. Nintendo’s product page and the Steam catalog describe the same bundle.
| Edition or product | What it contains | Who should buy it |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | Tales of Eternia Remastered only | Players who want the game without the digital extras |
| Deluxe Edition | Base game; Battle BGM Pack; Digital Artbook & Soundtrack; Super Growth Support Item Set | New buyers who want all three documented bonus groups in one purchase |
| Deluxe Upgrade Pack | Add-on that supplies the Deluxe content for an owner of the base game; the exact contents should be checked on the store listing for your platform and region | Players who already own Standard and do not want to repurchase the game |
Bandai Namco Europe lists the Deluxe Upgrade Pack at €24.99. That is a regional store price and may change; it should not be treated as a worldwide or permanent price. The Deluxe Edition and upgrade are digital products, while the availability and displayed currency depend on the storefront region.
What each Deluxe bonus does
- Battle BGM Pack: additional standard battle themes from previous Tales games.
- Digital Artbook & Soundtrack: a digital collection of artwork and music associated with the remaster.
- Super Growth Support Item Set: a set of consumable items intended to support character growth. The official descriptions do not give a universal item-by-item quantity in the edition summary.
The Steam catalog also lists separate level-up add-ons named Lv. Up+5 (1–4) and Lv. Up+10 (1–2). These are separate storefront entries, not a statement that every copy of the Deluxe Edition includes them. Check the product contents shown by your platform before buying any level-up item.

Are Deluxe DLC bonuses missable?
No official edition or storefront page reviewed for this release describes a story checkpoint, expiry date, or one-time in-game claim window for the Deluxe DLC. The safest conclusion is that the bonuses are digital entitlements attached to the edition or add-on, rather than rewards that disappear if you pass a town, boss, or side quest.
That does not prove that every story event, side quest, treasure, or optional item in the entire game is permanently obtainable. The absence of a DLC claim warning should not be expanded into a claim that all campaign content is non-missable. If a particular in-game item has a separate manual or event condition, follow that item’s instructions.
How to make sure an entitlement appears
- Buy the Standard, Deluxe, or upgrade product on the same platform account that will run the game.
- Install the base game and any separately listed add-on from that account’s library or downloadable-content page.
- Start the game after the platform finishes downloading the add-on. Some consumables may appear in an inventory, a delivery menu, or another in-game location specified by the product description.
- If the bonus is missing, close the game completely, confirm that the add-on is installed for the correct regional edition, and use the platform’s restore-licenses or redownload procedure. Contact the platform seller if the entitlement is still absent.
Do not delete a working save while troubleshooting. DLC ownership and save files are separate systems, so reinstalling an add-on is preferable to starting over.

How to redeem Tales of Eternia Remastered codes
No official source reviewed publishes a promotional code string, a universal expiry date, a region matrix, or a confirmed game-specific code-entry menu. The documented purchase paths are the platform storefront editions and DLC products. Consequently, there is no verified “master code” or universal in-game screen that can be safely reproduced here.
When a legitimate promotion gives you a code
Use the redemption instructions supplied with that specific promotion and the platform account on which you intend to play:
- Check which platform, country or region, and edition the promotion names. A code can be restricted to one storefront or territory.
- Open the platform’s official code-redemption page or console store option while signed in to the intended account.
- Enter the code exactly as supplied, including hyphens if shown, and verify the product name before confirming.
- Download the resulting add-on from the account’s library or downloadable-content list.
- Launch Tales of Eternia Remastered and look for the bonus according to the promotion’s instructions. Keep the receipt or redemption confirmation.
If a website asks for a code but does not identify the platform, publisher, region, or terms, treat it as unverified. Do not publish or rely on strings circulating in forums unless Bandai Namco or the relevant storefront confirms them.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
Common redemption failures
- “Invalid” or “already used”: recheck every character, then confirm that the code was not redeemed on another account.
- Region error: the account country and the code’s territory may not match. A VPN does not change the legal storefront region attached to an account.
- Code accepted but content missing: check the account’s add-on list, finish the download, restart the game, and verify that the base game and DLC are from compatible regional editions.
- No redemption option in the game: that is expected unless the promotion specifically documents an in-game menu. The available evidence does not establish one for this remaster.
Can you transfer a save from Switch to Switch 2?
No. Nintendo explicitly states: “Save data cannot be shared between the Nintendo Switch™ version and the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version.” Treat the two releases as separate save environments. A Switch save should not be assumed to load in the Switch 2 edition, and a Switch 2 save should not be assumed to load in the Switch edition.
| Platform situation | What is documented | What you should assume |
|---|---|---|
| Switch version | Nintendo Switch Online Save Data Cloud support is listed | Cloud backup can protect the Switch version’s save; it does not convert it into a Switch 2 save |
| Switch version to Switch 2 version | Nintendo says save data cannot be shared between them | Plan to begin a new save on the other version |
| PC version | Steam Cloud is listed | Steam Cloud synchronizes the PC version through Steam; no cross-platform transfer is established |
| PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo versions | No cited product page establishes a shared cross-platform format | Do not promise portability between console families or PC |
What cloud backup can and cannot do
Cloud services are useful for restoring a save on the same product and account after a hardware failure or reinstall. They are not evidence of a cross-version conversion tool. Before changing consoles, make a final cloud backup of the old version, keep the old system or its local save until you have confirmed what the new version supports, and do not overwrite the original save while experimenting.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDoes Deluxe include level-up items?
The official Deluxe summaries name the Super Growth Support Item Set, but they do not describe it as the separately cataloged Lv. Up+5 and Lv. Up+10 products. Steam lists those level-up entries independently, so you should not assume that the Deluxe Edition includes every level-up DLC item. Read the exact contents panel for your storefront and region before purchase.

- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
Because the Super Growth Support Item Set is described as consumable, use it only when you understand its effect. Consumables can affect the pace of progression, while the remaster’s difficulty options—including Extreme from the start and Unknown after completion—let you change challenge without requiring a DLC purchase.
Which version and edition should you choose?
Choose Standard when
- You want only the base adventure and do not need extra music, digital reference material, or growth consumables.
- You are unsure whether you will use optional items and would rather decide later.
Choose Deluxe when
- You are buying the game for the first time and want all three documented digital bonus groups in one transaction.
- You value the previous-series battle music or the digital artbook and soundtrack.
Choose the Deluxe Upgrade Pack when
- You already own the base game on the same platform and account.
- The upgrade is offered in your region and its displayed contents match what you want.
Compare the product name, platform, region, and included items on the checkout page. A Deluxe purchase on one platform does not establish ownership on another platform, and no source confirms cross-platform DLC licenses.
Release, platform, and feature checklist
- Release: October 16, 2026 for the announced console platforms; Steam records October 15, 2026 for PC.
- Platforms: Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
- Mode: single-player.
- Steam features: Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing are listed.
- Battle and navigation aids: Boost controls, toggleable destination icons, encounter disabling, high-speed Auto mode, Battle Retry, and Quick Recovery.
- Difficulty: Extreme is available from the start; Unknown unlocks after completion.
- Presentation: original or remastered graphics and sound effects can be selected during play; English and Japanese voices are documented.
Bottom line for DLC and saves
The Deluxe Edition is a digital bundle containing the game, Battle BGM Pack, Digital Artbook & Soundtrack, and Super Growth Support Item Set. No official source identifies a timed or story-gated claim window, but that should not be confused with a guarantee that every ordinary game collectible is permanent. There is no verified universal code list or code-entry method; redeem a legitimate promotion through the platform instructions attached to that offer. For saves, keep the Switch and Switch 2 releases separate: Nintendo’s explicit no-sharing warning overrides any assumption that cloud backup will migrate progress between them.
