What Tabletop TD is and when you can play it
Tabletop TD is a tabletop-themed tower-defense game from hummmmmmm, published by Leveritt Studio. Its central loop is intentionally chance-driven: you spend coins to draw random towers, merge towers into later eras, and try to survive 30 waves. After the standard run, Endless mode lets a session continue beyond the main wave set. The game supports solo play and online co-op for up to four players.
Steam lists the full Windows game for a planned November 2026 release. As of 18 October 2026, it is not yet available as a finished Steam release. SteamDB identifies the Windows application as app ID 5154200. A separate free demo released on 8 October 2026; the demo is listed as using Unity and offering single-player and online-co-op categories. Hardware behavior in the demo should not be treated as a formal guarantee for the final build, because the developer has not published a performance target for either version.

Published minimum requirements
The following values are the complete minimum specification currently shown in the official Steam requirements block. Meeting every row means your PC matches the published baseline, not that it has been certified for a particular frame rate.

How to check whether your PC meets each item
1. Confirm the Windows edition and build
- Press Windows key + R, type
winver, and press Enter. - Read the dialog’s edition, version, and OS build. The listed minimum is 64-bit Windows 10 version 21H1, build 19043, or newer.
- For a definitive architecture check, open Settings > System > About and look at System type. It should say a 64-bit operating system and an x64-based processor.
Any current Windows 11 installation is newer than the stated Windows 10 baseline, provided it is 64-bit. If you are on 32-bit Windows, the PC does not meet the published requirement even if the hardware itself is powerful enough.
2. Check processor architecture and SSE2
- Open Settings > System > About and note the processor name and whether Windows reports an x64-based processor.
- Open Task Manager with Ctrl + Shift + Esc, choose Performance, then CPU to confirm the installed model.
- Because the Steam listing names SSE2 rather than a model, verify that the processor supports the SSE2 instruction set using the CPU manufacturer’s specification page or a trusted hardware-identification utility.
The requirement is architectural rather than a published clock-speed target. The developer has not supplied a minimum number of cores, a frequency, or a named CPU generation, so those figures cannot be used to promise a specific level of performance.

3. Check installed RAM
- Go to Settings > System > About and read Installed RAM, or open Task Manager > Performance > Memory.
- Confirm that the installed total is at least 8 GB. Do not confuse installed memory with the amount currently free while other programs are running.
Eight gigabytes is the published minimum. Closing browsers, launchers, and background applications can reduce memory pressure, but it does not turn a machine with less than 8 GB into one that meets the official requirement.
4. Check DirectX 11 and graphics memory
- Press Windows key + R, type
dxdiag, and press Enter. Allow the diagnostic tool to finish collecting information. - On the System tab, read the DirectX Version line. On the Display or Render tab, note the GPU name and the feature levels reported by the driver.
- Check the GPU’s specification for at least 2 GB of VRAM. In Task Manager > Performance > GPU, Windows also shows dedicated GPU memory, although the exact labels can vary between hardware and drivers.
The graphics requirement combines two conditions: the processor must expose DirectX 11 capability, and the GPU must have 2 GB of video memory. The listing does not name a minimum GPU model or distinguish between a discrete card and integrated graphics. Shared system memory shown by some integrated GPUs should not automatically be treated as 2 GB of dedicated VRAM.
5. Check free storage before installing
- Open File Explorer > This PC and inspect the drive where you intend to install the game.
- Make sure at least 2 GB is available, then reserve extra capacity for Steam’s download staging, updates, crash logs, and saved data.
The published figure is 2 GB of available space. It is not a statement that the installer, temporary files, and future patches will always fit inside exactly 2 GB, so a nearly full drive can still cause installation or update errors.

What “meets the minimum” tells you—and what it does not
A PC that passes the Windows, x64/SSE2, RAM, GPU, DirectX 11, and storage checks matches the developer’s stated compatibility floor. That is the strongest conclusion available before the full release.

Checking the free demo without over-reading the result
The free demo released on 8 October 2026 gives prospective players a way to verify that the game launches on their own configuration before the planned November release. Use it as a compatibility check for the build you download, not as a promise about the final game’s content or performance.
- Install the demo on a drive with more than the stated 2 GB minimum free.
- Update Windows and your graphics driver before testing, then reboot so the new driver is active.
- Run the demo with nonessential launchers and overlays closed, and record the resolution and graphics settings used.
- Test a normal wave and, if available, an online co-op session; note crashes, missing textures, stutter, or connection-related problems separately from raw frame rate.
- Keep the demo’s version number and date with your notes, because behavior can change between builds.
A successful demo launch is evidence that the demo works on your setup. It does not establish that every final-game mode, later-era merge effect, Endless run, or four-player session will perform identically.
If your PC is below the minimum
Less than 8 GB of RAM
Adding compatible memory is the most direct way to address this specific shortfall. Check the motherboard or laptop’s supported memory type, maximum capacity, and available slots before buying. If the computer cannot be upgraded, close background applications and test the demo only as a diagnostic; the machine still remains below the official minimum.
Less than 2 GB of VRAM or no DirectX 11 support
A graphics upgrade is the relevant category of fix, but compatibility depends on the power supply, case clearance, cooling, display outputs, and the system’s expansion slot. On a laptop, the GPU is often not replaceable, making a compliant Windows gaming PC a more practical alternative. Do not assume that a newer driver can add hardware features the GPU does not support.
32-bit Windows or an older non-x64 processor
The listed baseline requires 64-bit Windows and an x64 processor with SSE2. Upgrading only the operating system cannot make a non-x64 CPU compliant. In that situation, compare the cost of a platform upgrade with replacing the computer.
Insufficient disk space
Free space by removing unused games or moving large files, then leave a buffer beyond 2 GB for downloads and updates. Installing to another internal or external drive can help if the current system drive is full, provided that drive is fast and reliable enough for normal game use.

Troubleshooting a PC that appears compliant
The game will not launch
- Recheck that Windows is 64-bit and at least build 19043 if you are using Windows 10.
- Run
dxdiagand confirm that the GPU driver reports DirectX 11 capability. - Install pending Windows and graphics-driver updates, then restart.
- Verify the installation through Steam’s installed-game properties if files may be missing or corrupted.
- Temporarily disable overlays or background utilities that hook into games, then test again.
Stutter or low frame rate
- Record the resolution, graphics settings, GPU memory use, system RAM use, and whether the issue occurs in solo or online play.
- Lower resolution or visual settings as a diagnostic, but do not interpret improvement as an official performance guarantee.
- Check laptop power mode and thermal throttling; a battery-saving profile can reduce available CPU or GPU performance.
- Close memory-heavy applications and make sure the installation drive has room for temporary files.
Co-op problems
Tabletop TD supports online co-op for up to four players, but the published minimum table does not specify a network connection speed, host requirement, or latency target. Separate a connection or matchmaking problem from a rendering problem by checking whether the game runs normally in solo mode and whether every player sees the same symptom.
Platform availability and open questions
The full game is listed for Windows. No source currently confirms Steam Deck, Linux, or macOS support for the full release, so those platforms should be treated as unconfirmed rather than assumed compatible. The same caution applies to recommended hardware, target frame rates, supported resolutions, and streaming performance: none has been published in the current listing.
