Whether you qualify depends on the specific T-Mobile offer—not just the phone you own. As of October 4, 2026, T-Mobile advertises up to $1,000 off an iPhone 18 Pro on one qualifying path, but other offers have different plan, trade-in, new-line, and number-transfer requirements. Credits are generally spread over monthly bills, and paying off early can end them.
Am I eligible for a T-Mobile iPhone deal?
There is no single eligibility rule for every T-Mobile iPhone promotion. Each offer sets its own qualifying service plan, customer status, trade-in device and condition, financing, and—sometimes—new-line or number-transfer requirements. The maximum advertised discount is not an automatic entitlement.

On the T-Mobile deals page accessed October 4, 2026, one current offer advertises up to $1,000 off an iPhone 18 Pro for a customer who switches and brings a number or trades in an eligible phone in any condition on an Experience Beyond plan. The offer is for well-qualified customers, adds tax, and provides up to 36 monthly bill credits. Its displayed terms identify Experience Beyond 2.0 for new and existing members, and Experience Beyond and Go5G Next for existing members. Confirm the terms shown for your account and checkout path: T-Mobile deals.
T-Mobile’s detailed promotions listing, with Apple offers beginning October 1, 2026, shows separate promotion ceilings of up to $1,000, $830, or $800. Those amounts belong to different offer entries and qualification rules; some require service at specified price thresholds such as $100+, $85+, or $70+ per month. These thresholds are offer-specific, not interchangeable. Review the offer code and its plan and device rows on T-Mobile’s detailed promotion terms. The listings are time-limited and can change.

Check the offer before choosing a plan
- Confirm whether the offer is for a new customer, an existing customer, or someone adding a line.
- Check whether it requires porting in a number, adding a new line, or either option.
- Match the plan named in the offer, including any stated monthly service-price threshold.
- Verify the exact iPhone model and condition requirement for the trade-in route.
- Compare the credit amount and duration with upfront tax, any listed connection charge, and the service cost over the credit period.
Can I trade in my iPhone if it’s damaged?
Sometimes. T-Mobile advertises an “any condition” trade-in route for the specific iPhone 18 Pro offer described above, but that wording does not apply to all promotions or make every phone eligible. The detailed offer list also includes promotions requiring an eligible device in good condition. The selected offer’s eligible-model list and condition rules control; check them before trading in the phone.
If you submit a trade-in, follow the offer’s instructions and keep the submission confirmation. Some offer terms say to allow two billing cycles after valid submission and validation before credits appear; timing depends on the specific promotion. Where the offer requires it, the associated line must remain active and in good standing.

How do T-Mobile iPhone bill credits work?
With a typical device promotion, you finance the phone and T-Mobile applies the promotional discount as monthly bill credits over the stated period. The current iPhone offer page advertises up to 36 monthly credits; that maximum duration is not a promise that every offer uses the same schedule. The credit is limited by the eligible device price where the offer terms say so.

Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Credits are separate from the wireless plan charge. T-Mobile’s offer terms say taxes are due on the full device price before credits are applied at sale; some offer descriptions also list a $35 device connection charge. Check the checkout total and the offer-specific terms rather than treating the advertised discount as a reduction to those upfront amounts.

To compare offers fairly, work out the required service cost across the promotion period and add the upfront charges. A larger phone credit may not be the better deal if it requires a more expensive plan or a new line you do not otherwise need.
Can I pay off my phone early and keep the credits?
No, not under the published terms for these offers. T-Mobile’s current deals page states: “Bill credits end if you pay off device early.” The detailed promotion disclosures also warn that paying off early ends credits. If you cancel the entire account before all credits arrive, the credits can stop and the remaining balance on the required finance agreement becomes due. Do not assume unpaid credits transfer to another account or service arrangement; review your agreement and contact T-Mobile before paying off or cancelling.

Can I upgrade my iPhone early with T-Mobile?
Possibly, but an early upgrade benefit is separate from an ordinary trade-in promotion. Yearly Upgrade applies only to qualifying new financed devices purchased on a qualifying plan or feature under its terms; an existing device cannot be enrolled retroactively. The customer must be current on scheduled device-financing and wireless-service payments, and the trade-in must be in good working order.

Yearly Upgrade requirements and what changes
T-Mobile’s Yearly Upgrade terms say: “Upgrade qualifying device after at least 6 months and when 50% of device cost has been paid.” When a qualifying customer upgrades, T-Mobile says it pays the remaining balance on the existing finance agreement, while the trade-in satisfies the early upgrade rather than receiving separate trade-in value. The upgrade ends the old device’s promotional or deposit-reimbursement credits. Yearly Upgrade can be changed or cancelled and is not combinable with some offers, including JUMP. Read the current terms at T-Mobile Yearly Upgrade support.

JUMP! 1.0 and JUMP! 2.0
T-Mobile said JUMP! 1.0 customers could make at least one more upgrade before August 31, 2026, even if they had already upgraded twice that year. That transition date has passed. The update says JUMP! 1.0 customers move to JUMP! 2.0 afterward, with future upgrades subject to new eligibility requirements including a 50% device paydown. Legacy customers should verify their individual enrollment and current terms with T-Mobile: T-Mobile JUMP! program update.
