How much does T-Mobile Home Internet cost per month?
T-Mobile’s current U.S. plan pages advertise three options with different conditions. These are offer-dependent prices, not guaranteed prices for every customer or address.

| Plan | Advertised monthly price and conditions | What the plan page says is included |
|---|---|---|
| Rely | $35 per month with AutoPay and any T-Mobile voice line for qualifying accounts. The plan disclosure also describes $60 per month before AutoPay or other discounts. Taxes and fees are included for qualifying accounts, according to the FAQ. | Unlimited data and a 5G gateway. T-Mobile’s plan FAQ gives typical download speeds of 170–354 Mbps and uploads of 12–55 Mbps. Its Rely Broadband Facts disclosure instead lists 133–354 Mbps download, 12–55 Mbps upload, and 16–28 ms latency. These are separate provider disclosures, not guaranteed speeds. |
| Home Internet Plus | $50 per month with AutoPay and a qualifying premium voice line. The offer describes a $20 monthly credit for qualifying new lines; taxes and fees apply for some accounts. | High-performance gateway, one Wi-Fi mesh access point, and 24/7 interactive video support. Additional mesh units are available; check compatibility and whether your home needs another access point before buying one. |
| Home Internet Backup | $20 per month with AutoPay, plus taxes and fees. | Gateway included, no annual service contract or equipment fees, and no T-Mobile voice line requirement. |

What determines your actual bill?
AutoPay and voice-line eligibility
The lower advertised prices depend on specified conditions. Rely’s $35 price requires AutoPay and a T-Mobile voice line for qualifying accounts. Home Internet Plus requires AutoPay and a qualifying premium voice line for its stated offer, and its described credit applies to qualifying new internet lines. If a qualifying line is canceled or the account’s plan changes, promotional credits may stop. Verify the precise requirements in the order summary for your account.

One-time connection charge
T-Mobile lists a $35 device connection charge in terms surfaced for these offers. Check whether it appears in your checkout total.
Taxes, surcharges, and fees
Taxes and fees depend on the plan and account. T-Mobile’s terms describe monthly Regulatory Programs and Telco Recovery Fees, and some plan offers say taxes and fees apply. The amounts can change, so use the live order summary and plan terms rather than assuming the advertised monthly price is your complete bill.
Gateway return obligation
T-Mobile supplies a gateway for use at the activated service address. Its terms say you may owe up to $370 if you do not return the gateway undamaged. Keep the device and return instructions if you cancel or change service.

When promotional credits appear
Some credits may take up to two billing cycles to show up. T-Mobile says credits can stop if you cancel a qualifying line or change plans, so account for the full-price amount and the credit’s conditions when estimating your ongoing bill.
Does T-Mobile’s five-year price guarantee freeze the whole bill?
No. T-Mobile describes a five-year price guarantee for qualifying plans, but it does not cover every possible charge. The stated exclusions include taxes and fees, voluntary equipment or speed upgrades, future wireless generations, select limited-time promotions, per-use charges, third-party services, and network-management practices. The guarantee begins when eligible service is activated or changed to an eligible plan; later plan or line changes do not restart it. Review the current guarantee terms for the specific offer before treating it as a commitment about your total bill.
Is T-Mobile Home Internet available at your address?
Availability is address-specific, and T-Mobile says service is not offered everywhere. Check eligibility using the exact service address, then review the plan and full order summary associated with your account. A broad availability map or another person’s offer cannot establish that your address qualifies.

What speeds should you expect, and what does “unlimited” mean?
Speed depends on location, time of day, signal strength, availability, and other network conditions. In its plan FAQ, T-Mobile lists typical Rely downloads of 170–354 Mbps and uploads of 12–55 Mbps; it gives 170–498 Mbps typical downloads for Amplified or All-In, with uploads of 12–55 Mbps. T-Mobile says a quarter of customers can fall below and a quarter above the listed ranges. The separate Rely Broadband Facts disclosure lists 133–354 Mbps down, 12–55 Mbps up, and 16–28 ms latency. These provider-reported ranges are not a promise of the speed your connection will achieve.
“Unlimited data” does not mean a fixed speed at all times. Terms surfaced for specified plans say customers may see lower speeds during congestion and that, after more than 1.2 TB of use in a month, data may receive lower priority. T-Mobile’s network-management terms also reserve the ability to slow, suspend, terminate, or restrict service in cases such as misuse or interference. Check the terms for the exact plan you are considering.

How should you compare the price with cable or fiber?
T-Mobile says it cannot directly compare its 5G Home Internet speeds with named cable providers. There is no universal winner established by the available plan information: wireless service depends on local signal and network conditions, while cable and fiber offers vary by address and provider. Compare the offers available at your own location on the same basis.
- Availability: Confirm each service can be installed at the address where you will use it.
- Typical performance: Compare typical, not maximum, download and upload speeds. Include latency if video calls, online gaming, or other delay-sensitive tasks matter.
- Total cost over time: Include AutoPay and bundle requirements, taxes, monthly surcharges, equipment or connection charges, and what the bill becomes when a promotion ends.
- Terms and flexibility: Check contract or cancellation obligations, equipment-return rules, and any service trial conditions.
- Congestion: Ask how network management may affect performance at busy times and compare that with the alternatives’ terms.
T-Mobile promotes a 15-day test period and says Home Internet has no annual contract. The test period is subject to new-line eligibility and timely gateway return; confirm the conditions attached to your offer.
