The SweetNight 14-inch CoolNest Memory Foam Mattress was reported at $379.51 for a queen on Amazon on October 2, 2026. Tom’s Guide called it a strong cooling option based on one writer’s month-plus test, but the “most cooling bed” wording is that writer’s opinion—not a measured comparison across mattresses. The reported price is dated, so check the Amazon listing and checkout terms before treating it as available this weekend.
What was the reported queen-size deal?
Tom’s Guide reported the SweetNight 14-inch CoolNest Memory Foam Mattress in queen size at $379.51 on Amazon on October 2, 2026. The same article listed a $629.99 prior price and a $469.99 price from SweetNight direct, and described the Amazon offer as $250.48 off the prior price. These are figures from that dated report, not a live price check; listing, seller, stock, size selection, and checkout terms can change. Tom’s Guide, October 2, 2026.

The report also showed a 4.5-star user score from more than 1,100 reviews. That is a dated platform snapshot, not an independently verified performance measure or a guarantee of your experience.
What makes the CoolNest feel cool?
Tom’s Guide writer Frances Daniels attributed the cooling feel to gel infusions, a breathable cover, and heat-dissipating Phase Change Material (PCM). Daniels said she tested the mattress for more than a month using lab-based and at-home testing, and reported sleeping cool through summer heatwaves. That is a reviewer’s account, not a published surface-temperature reading or a controlled comparison with other mattresses.

The article does not give a numerical firmness rating, measured temperature change, or cooling-test protocol. Treat “most cooling” as the writer’s characterization rather than an objectively established ranking.
Who is it best suited to?
Side sleepers seeking contouring
Daniels found the mattress’s contouring memory foam best suited to side sleeping, with pressure relief at the shoulders and hips. That makes it a plausible candidate for someone who likes a body-conforming feel, but the assessment is one tester’s experience; individual comfort depends on body shape and preference.

Back and stomach sleepers comparing a firmer option
Tom’s Guide named the queen Siena Signature Memory Foam Mattress, reported at $329 in the same article, as a cheaper alternative. The publication described it as less cooling-focused, though it offered temperature regulation, and said its review team found it too firm for side sleepers but suitable for back and stomach sleepers. Its price and availability are also dated and should be checked before purchase.

| Purchase channel | Terms reported by Tom’s Guide |
|---|---|
| Amazon | 10-year warranty; free 90-day returns only if the mattress remained in its box. |
| SweetNight direct | 100-night sleep trial. |
For a mattress, the boxed-only return condition is consequential: once opened, the reported Amazon return option may not apply. Review the current return policy before opening the package, and compare the direct trial conditions with Amazon’s checkout terms rather than assuming they are interchangeable.

Consider it if you want a queen memory-foam mattress with a cooling-focused design and value a contouring feel for side sleeping. The strongest evidence for cooling in the cited article is the tester’s subjective report; it does not establish a measured cooling advantage over competing beds. The purchase choice also turns on whether the current price is attractive and whether the channel’s return conditions suit you.
