Business Today’s 7 October 2026 report put five Indian stocks near or at reported 52-week lows and relayed targets from named brokerages. The targets range from neutral to buy or add calls; they are individual broker views, not a verified consensus or a promise of recovery. The price levels below are what that report said in its publication and trading context—not live quotes.

Reported lows and brokerage targets

The figures in this table are attributed to Business Today’s report dated 7 October 2026. Target horizons and the analysts’ underlying valuation assumptions were not consistently provided, so the targets should not be read as directly comparable forecasts.

Stock Low-price context reported Brokerage target and reported call
Suzlon Energy ₹38.43 current-session low, near the ₹38.17 low recorded on 9 March 2026 Centrum: ₹74, buy; Motilal Oswal: ₹74
NCC ₹125.75 current-session 52-week low PL Capital: ₹195, buy; IIFL Institutional Equities: ₹167, add
Inox Wind ₹66.76 current-session 52-week low Motilal Oswal: ₹92, buy
Kaynes Technology ₹2,995 low in May 2026; ₹7,705 reported 52-week high Motilal Oswal: ₹4,400, buy; HDFC Securities: ₹3,270, described by the report as “buy” with a “reduce rating”
IREDA ₹107.20 fresh current-session 52-week low Phillip Securities: ₹140, neutral

Business Today did not present consistent target horizons or underlying analyst reports. NCC and Kaynes each have two reported brokerage views; neither set should be collapsed into an average or called a consensus. In particular, the report’s wording for HDFC Securities’ Kaynes view is internally awkward, so it is reproduced as attributed rather than resolved into a cleaner rating.

What the report says about NCC’s outlook

For NCC, Business Today relayed PL Capital’s FY27 revenue-growth guidance of 8–10% and EBITDA margin guidance of 8.5–9%. The same report attributed this Q2FY27 forecast to the brokerage: “For Q2FY27, we expect revenue and EBITDA growth of 10% and 18.2% YoY, respectively. Expected EBITDA Margin is 8% (vs 7.4% in Q2FY26), with PAT growth of 10.1% YoY,” said PL Capital. These are brokerage expectations, not reported company results.

  • Suzlon: Its NSE filing reports standalone, unaudited results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026: revenue from operations of ₹3,29,738 lakh and profit before tax of ₹38,292 lakh. Suzlon’s investor-relations page lists its Q1 FY2026–27 results, presentation, press release and call transcript.

Does a 52-week low make a stock a buy?

No. A 52-week low describes a price relative to the prior year, not whether the shares are undervalued or likely to rebound. Business Today also described RSI below 30 as an oversold chart condition; that technical signal does not establish fundamental value or predict future returns. A brokerage target is an attributed opinion whose horizon, assumptions and risks matter, and the report does not supply enough consistent detail to rank these five stocks by valuation.

The report also described Suzlon’s five-year return as about 479%, Inox Wind’s as 175%, and NCC’s two-year decline as 57%. Those are figures reported by Business Today, not independently reproduced calculations here; past performance does not determine future results. Its description of recent “more sellers than buyers” is likewise the outlet’s characterization, not measured order-flow data.

How to use the targets

  • Treat each price and target as historical reporting tied to 7 October 2026, not a current quote.
  • Keep each brokerage’s call attached to its own target; a neutral call, such as Phillip Securities’ IREDA view, is not a buy recommendation.
  • Check the original broker research for target date, horizon, valuation method and risks before relying on a target. Those details were not consistently available in the report.
  • Compare company results only when period, audit status and consolidated or standalone basis are clear.
