Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →The SURI Core 1.0 is a straightforward sonic electric toothbrush with two modes, a pressure sensor and a long stated battery life. Its main appeal is a lower-priced, lighter alternative to SURI’s Pro 2.0; its clearest trade-offs are a plastic rather than metal handle and no compatible UV charging travel case. SURI listed it at $75 on its US product page, but prices and availability can change.
What the SURI Core 1.0 includes
SURI describes Core 1.0 as a sonic toothbrush with up to 28,000 vibrations, two cleaning modes and an IPX7 waterproof body. The box includes a brush head, wireless charging stand, magnetic mirror mount and plant-based head cover. You do not need to buy the stand or mount separately for the basic setup.

- Clean and polish modes: The manufacturer also describes a gentle mode for sensitive teeth or people new to electric brushing.
- Haptic pressure sensor: The handle provides tactile feedback when it detects excessive pressure.
- Two-minute timer: It tracks the overall brushing time and gives a prompt every 30 seconds to move to another quadrant.
- Materials: SURI says the handle contains over 90% bio-circular plastic, identified in its FAQ as bio-circular ABS. It describes the head material as cornstarch- and castor-oil-based PLA. Those are manufacturer material descriptions, not proof of a smaller overall environmental footprint.
- Age guidance: SURI says the brush is designed for ages 13 and up and has medium-soft bristles. Its guidance is not a substitute for advice from a dentist.
See SURI’s Core 1.0 product page for the manufacturer’s current specifications and package details.
How it compares with SURI Pro 2.0
Core 1.0 is the simpler option in SURI’s range. The available product information supports a comparison on a few practical points, but not a complete side-by-side specification comparison.

| Price reference | $75 shown on SURI’s US page in 2026; confirm current local price and availability. | Not stated in the available sources. |
| Handle | Bio-circular plastic, according to SURI; Electric Teeth describes it as lighter than the Pro 2.0 handle. | Metal, according to Electric Teeth’s 2026 review. |
| Travel charging case | Not included, according to Electric Teeth; SURI says its UV Travel Case is incompatible. | Electric Teeth says a charging travel case is included with Pro 2.0. |
| Independent scoring | 86 overall in Electric Teeth’s 2026 scoring. | 88 overall in the same reviewer’s scoring table. |
The two-point score difference reflects Electric Teeth’s judgments, not a standardized clinical measure. If you mainly want a daily brush and already have a way to charge it at home, the Core’s simpler package may suit you. If a metal handle and a charging travel case matter to your routine, the Pro 2.0’s included case is a meaningful distinction. Electric Teeth discusses its measurements and assessment in its SURI Core 1.0 review.
Battery life: manufacturer claim versus reviewer test
SURI rates Core 1.0 for up to 28 days of battery life. Electric Teeth reported that its tested unit lasted 33 days on a charge. The 33-day result is that reviewer’s test outcome, not a guaranteed runtime for every user; brushing frequency, mode and other conditions can affect actual use.

Cleaning performance and the plaque claim
SURI says Core 1.0 removed “100% more plaque” than an ADA-approved manual toothbrush in a one-day in-vivo study conducted by an independent third party. That is a manufacturer-reported claim. The product-page information available here does not provide the sample size, study protocol, statistical uncertainty, authors or publication reference, so readers cannot independently assess the result from those details. It should not be read as evidence of better long-term dental outcomes.
For everyday use, the more directly verifiable features are the two modes, quadrant timer and haptic pressure feedback. Whether those feel comfortable or help you brush consistently is personal; the product specifications alone cannot establish that for every user.

Size, weight and noise reported by Electric Teeth
In its 2026 review, Electric Teeth reported these measurements for its tested unit: 69 g with the head attached, 63 g without it, 21.5 cm in length with the head, and 54 dB of noise. The reviewer characterized the brush as comfortable and quiet. These are the reviewer’s measurements and opinions rather than SURI specifications or independent laboratory findings.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Brush heads, replacement and recycling
SURI recommends replacing the head every two to three months and also says dentists recommend replacing it every three months. Its page says returned heads can be sent back for recycling using a prepaid mailer. SURI also describes a refill plan that sends two heads every six months; check the product page for current terms, regional availability and return instructions.

Does the UV Travel Case work with Core 1.0?
No. SURI states that its UV Travel Case works only with the Pro 2.0 and is not compatible with Core 1.0. If you need to travel with Core, plan on carrying the brush and its charging setup separately; do not buy the Pro 2.0 case expecting it to charge this model.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIs the SURI Core 1.0 worth it?
Core 1.0 is worth considering if you want a two-mode sonic brush with a timer, pressure feedback and a compact home charging arrangement, and you do not need an integrated charging travel case or metal handle. The strongest reason to choose Pro 2.0 instead is the case-and-handle package, not a proven dramatic performance gap: Electric Teeth’s overall scores were close, and those scores are the reviewer’s assessment.
SURI’s US page showed $75 in 2026. Because price, promotions and stock vary by region and over time, check the local product page before deciding whether the savings justify the simpler package.
