Surfshark’s official pricing page showed discounts of 79% to 85% on one selected 24-month offer—not the advertised 87%—when checked on October 4, 2026. That selection included three extra months, making the first term 27 months. The displayed introductory prices were $2.49 per month for Starter, $2.79 for One, and $4.49 for One+. These are selection-specific prices, not guaranteed checkout totals: currency, VAT, coupons, and the offer available to you can change the amount.
Is Surfshark 87% off?
The official pricing selection checked on October 4, 2026 displayed discounts from 79% to 85%, so it did not substantiate an 87% discount. The exact 87% claim may refer to a different coupon, location, or checkout selection; it should not be treated as the price everyone can get. Confirm the live offer and its comparison price at checkout before buying.

How much does Surfshark cost after the deal?
The introductory total and the renewal charge are separate costs. Surfshark says the applicable renewal price will be charged, but the selected offer information does not establish a renewal amount for each bundle. Check the renewal price and billing cadence shown for your own subscription before confirming payment; do not calculate a future cost from the introductory monthly equivalent.
Surfshark offers monthly, 12-month, and 24-month subscription selections. It says the two-year plan is billed at the start and then annually after that term expires. Final checkout pricing can vary with currency, VAT, and an applied coupon, so compare the full amount due now as well as the future renewal terms.
Which Surfshark plan should you choose?
Starter
Choose Starter if you want the VPN and do not need the additional services in the higher bundles. Dedicated IP is a separate purchase, not part of these bundles.

One adds services such as Alert, Search, Antivirus, and Alternative ID. Consider it only if those additions are useful to you; the VPN itself is included in Starter.
One+
One+ adds Incogni to the One bundle’s services. Check the current bundle comparison at checkout because included services can change.

Yes. Surfshark’s terms say paid services renew automatically unless you cancel automatic payments before renewal. Surfshark may change subscription prices with advance communication. Its terms were dated July 13, 2026 in the official search result; check the current terms and account billing page for the rules and price applicable to your subscription.
Eligible new users may be offered a seven-day trial through Surfshark’s website with a 12- or 24-month plan and specified payment methods. Surfshark’s support information, updated September 11, 2026, says the trial is limited to three devices and the subscription is charged after the trial unless canceled. Surfshark also states a 30-day money-back guarantee. Trial eligibility, payment requirements, and refund conditions should be confirmed at checkout and in the current support policy.

- If you subscribed directly: sign in to your Surfshark account and cancel the subscription’s automatic renewal there.
- If you subscribed through an app store: cancel through the relevant store’s subscription settings; canceling only in a Surfshark account may not stop store billing.
- Check the status: Surfshark says access remains active until the current billing period ends. Stopping renewal does not itself issue a refund; refund eligibility is separate.
What the VPN bundle includes—and what privacy claims mean
Surfshark describes Kill Switch as a feature that cuts internet access if the VPN connection drops. Its support materials also document CleanWeb, Bypasser (split tunneling), and NoBorders; availability varies by platform. Check whether a feature works on your device before choosing a plan.
Surfshark says it does not log online activities while a user is connected to its VPN. It also says it requires an email address for authentication and account communications, and payment information for refunds and fraud prevention. These are Surfshark’s own statements, not independent verification.
