- Place food centered on the air-fry mesh rack. For high-grease food, the guide suggests using the baking pan, or placing the food on the wire rack with the baking pan directly underneath.
- Close the glass door, select Air Fry, then set the temperature and timer.
- For a cooking time under 20 minutes, turn the timer past the 20-minute point and back to the desired time to engage it.
- When the bell sounds, remove the food carefully.
The guide includes suggested foods, weights, temperatures and cooking times. Treat these as starting points from the manufacturer, not guaranteed timings: results may depend on the food and load. The listed dimensions and 7.2 kg weight can help assess whether the oven will fit on a counter, but the Australian listing does not label the dimension order. Check the available space against the appliance itself, including room for the door and ventilation. The manual warns that accessible surfaces may become hot during and after use. Verdict: a feature list, not proof of air-frying performance
The COM3600BK comes with a mesh rack and pans suited to its stated air-fry setup, and Sunbeam publishes a clear basic operating procedure. Its unresolved 17L/18.0L capacity discrepancy makes a precise capacity claim difficult, while publicly visible independent results are insufficient to judge cooking quality.
