For the latest dated snapshot available here, Pocket Gamer’s Summoners Greed tier list was updated October 8, 2026, for version 1.108.17. It puts 30 monsters in S tier, including support characters and lower-rarity options—not just Mythicals. Treat the ranking as a useful starting point, not an official or universal verdict: the publisher says it considers different modes but does not publish a scoring formula or complete mode-by-mode rankings.
Best Summoners Greed monsters in the October 2026 tier list
Below is Pocket Gamer’s editorial ranking for game version 1.108.17, updated October 8, 2026. The source says placements reflect use across different modes. It does not provide weights or a separate full ranking for each mode, so the tiers are best read as a broad guide rather than a precise measure of every monster’s performance in every situation.

How to choose a monster for your team
A tier is not a substitute for matching a monster to your game mode, your current progress, and the rest of your lineup. A monster’s listed placement also does not account for the level, stars, or evolution you have actually invested in it.

Start with the mode and the job you need done
First identify what is holding your team back: damage, crowd control, range, or support. A July 2026 strategy guide recommends Mighty for attack boosts and Speedy for attack speed, and describes Amaterasu as a damage carry, Jiraiya as a range and freezing option, Zeus for lightning needs, Kingslayer for a late-game Map 13 role, and Hellhound or Ifrit as a special option. Those are secondary-source suggestions from before the October snapshot, not verified post-update recommendations; use them as role ideas rather than guarantees.
Invest in a usable core rather than chasing every S-tier name
Community advice favors leveling a focused lineup, with a strong damage dealer supported by characters such as Mighty and Speedy, instead of spreading upgrades evenly. This is player experience, not a controlled test or official rule. It nevertheless points to a practical consideration the tier label cannot show: a developed monster may be more useful to your account than a higher-ranked one you have barely upgraded.

Do not use rarity as a shortcut for strength
The October list includes Mythical, Special, Legendary, Epic, and Common monsters in S tier. Mighty, Speedy, Devon, and Mr. Flamey are among the non-Mythical names there. A monster’s rarity alone therefore does not tell you where it sits in this editorial ranking—or whether it fills a useful role in your team.
Why older Summoners Greed tier lists can go stale
Official release notes show that balance can change substantially. Pixio’s notes for version 1.107.1, dated March 5, 2026, said, “We boosted their power by 30x!” about Mythicals. Notes for version 1.107.4, dated March 19, 2026, then described further Mythical changes: one copy needed to increase a Mythical star level, leveling cost reduced to 5 coins instead of 500, and skill damage changed to x10. These are historical patch-note figures, not confirmation of the current rules in version 1.108.17. They show why a list from years earlier—or one that predates major updates—may no longer reflect the game.

Pocket Gamer says it incorporates new releases and buffs or nerfs over time, so the date and game version are essential context when comparing lists. Recheck the current ranking after substantial game updates, and favor advice that explains a monster’s role in your mode over a bare tier label. A tier list can narrow the choices; it cannot account for every player’s roster or investment.
