Capcom’s FAQ for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 lists Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER among the collection’s arcade titles. The FAQ says the Switch version outputs at 1080p in TV mode and 720p in handheld mode and supports local multiplayer. The FAQ was last updated July 20, 2026. This adds another Street Fighter option to the Switch library, but the collection is not described as containing every Street Fighter game.

Nintendo Switch 2: the platform announced for Street Fighter 6
Capcom announced Street Fighter 6 for Nintendo Switch 2 with the system’s June 5, 2025 launch. Capcom described Switch 2-specific features including a gyro-based mode and local battles. The product details list Switch 2 separately from the original Switch, so “Street Fighter 6 on Switch” should be written as “Street Fighter 6 on Switch 2” unless a later listing explicitly names another platform.
This is a different proposition from the watch and Pocket Player. Street Fighter 6 is a modern, full-scale release associated with a current console platform, while the Pocket Player contains two older named games and the watch contains a watch-designed adaptation. If modern systems, current characters and contemporary modes are the goal, Switch 2 is the relevant Nintendo choice in the evidence available here.
Capcom’s April 3, 2025 announcement also states that the Street Fighter series had surpassed 56 million cumulative units sold as of December 31, 2024. That figure covers the series overall; it is not a sales number for the watch, Pocket Player or any one Switch edition.

Steam Deck: a portable PC, so verify the exact game
How compatibility works
Valve characterizes Steam Deck as a portable gaming PC and assigns compatibility ratings to individual Steam games. The categories include Verified, Playable and Unsupported. Valve says the review is ongoing, which means a rating can change as updates, patches or testing change.
For a Street Fighter purchase, open the Steam page for the exact title and version you intend to play and read its current Deck rating. A rating for one game does not establish that every other Street Fighter release works identically. Even two games in the same franchise can differ in text readability, launcher behavior, controller prompts, online services or required settings.
Why the Deck is different from a fixed-library handheld
