Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist (2014): Ryu, Ken and Ansatsuken
Capcom’s announcement describes Assassin’s Fist as a production about the formative years of Ryu and Ken, their training in the Ansatsuken fighting style and the history of their master, Gouken. Are the Street Fighter movies connected?

Why the projects read as separate continuities
- The 1994 film is built around Colonel Guile’s effort to stop General Bison and resolve a hostage crisis.

How do the game elements map onto each adaptation?

Do not confuse the game rating with a film rating
An ESRB entry for Street Fighter The Movie refers to a separate video game and gives it a T for Teen rating with Realistic Violence. That classification does not rate the 1994 film, the 2009 film, Assassin’s Fist or the 2026 production.
