It is a historical preview, not a current fixture list: Streamer still lists competitions such as WAFL Colts, WABL and NPL WA, but today’s schedule and replay catalogue are different.
What was on Streamer that weekend?
PerthNow published its guide on 21 July 2023, promoting a mix of community-sport coverage and other video content. The confirmed headline events and access notes were:
| Sport or content | What the guide named | When and where | Access detail in the 2023 guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Country football | New Holland WA State Country Men’s team v South Australia | Saturday, 22 July, Optus Stadium | Streamer coverage promoted; the article does not state a specific pass requirement. |
| WABL basketball, men | Perth Redbacks v Willetton Tigers | Sunday, 23 July; part of a back-to-back grand-final block from noon | Check the historical guide; it does not specify an access pass. |
| WABL basketball, women | Cockburn Cougars v Perry Lakes Hawks | Sunday, 23 July; part of a back-to-back grand-final block from noon | Check the historical guide; it does not specify an access pass. |
| WAFL Colts | Subiaco v Perth Demons; Claremont v West Perth | Weekend fixtures; the guide named Leederville Oval for Subiaco v Perth | Streamer coverage promoted; no fixture-specific pass detail stated. |
| NPL WA | Men’s, women’s and under-23 matches | Weekend programme; no complete fixture list or kickoff times in the article | Check the Streamer listing for the event schedule and access. |
| PSA school sport | School-sport coverage returning after the holidays | Weekend content | The 2023 guide said a PSA League Pass was required. |
The guide’s headline used “SANFL,” but its match description identifies South Australia in the State Country Football Cup. That does not establish that this was a regular SANFL league fixture. The PerthNow preview named Jayden Schofield, Haiden Schloithe, Tom Gorter and Kade Stewart among the WA players; it is not a source for the final teams or result. Read the original PerthNow preview.
WA Country v South Australia: the headline football match
The representative match was part of the State Country Football Cup and was scheduled for Saturday, 22 July 2023, at Optus Stadium. The preview framed it as a meeting of country-football talent and named WA players, including Schofield, Schloithe, Gorter and Stewart. It also mentioned former West Coast player Josh Kennedy’s country-football appearance. These were preview details, not confirmation of the match-day line-up or a post-match account.

WABL Championship Division grand finals
The Sunday basketball feature was two WABL Championship Division title games in succession, starting from noon on 23 July 2023. These were basketball finals, not football deciders:
- Men: Perth Redbacks v Willetton Tigers.
- Women: Cockburn Cougars v Perry Lakes Hawks.
The PerthNow article promoted these games as the decisive matches of the finals series. It did not give more precise individual tip-off times in the available listing, so the noon reference is best read as the start of the back-to-back block.

WAFL Colts: two top-five match-ups
The guide highlighted Subiaco v Perth Demons at Leederville Oval and Claremont v West Perth. Its ladder context was specific to 21 July 2023: Perth was described as unbeaten, Subiaco third, Claremont second and West Perth fifth. Those standings explain why the preview presented both as top-five clashes; they are not current standings or a season summary.
NPL WA and PSA school sport
NPL WA
The 2023 preview promoted NPL WA men’s, women’s and under-23 coverage, but did not provide a complete list of pairings or start times. Do not infer that every match in those competitions was streamed. Streamer says coverage can depend on the league, club or production provider; a competition page alone does not confirm that a particular fixture has a live feed.

PSA
The PerthNow guide said PSA content required a PSA League Pass and noted that the school programme was returning after the holidays. It did not state the pass price for July 2023, so current pricing should not be applied retrospectively.
Other video promoted with the weekend guide
The package also pointed readers to a full interview with then-Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, conducted by 7NEWS journalist Ryan Daniels, along with highlights and clips. These were additional video recommendations, not fixtures in the weekend schedule. The article also invited viewers to share feedback and highlights through Streamer’s social channels.

Was it live, replayed or free?
The article promoted a mix of live sport, on-demand viewing, highlights and other video, but did not establish identical live status or replay availability for every match. Treat the original listing as a preview, not proof that every named event had the same broadcast, commentary or replay offering.
For current service information, Streamer says most games are free to watch, while some competitions require a League Pass; viewers can also choose a Digital Fan Pass. Its FAQ currently lists both passes at $5 per month. The Digital Fan Pass includes highlight-creation tools, which the League Pass does not. These are current Streamer terms, not prices for the July 2023 weekend. Check Streamer’s current FAQ.

Streamer currently lists WAFL Colts, WABL and NPL WA among its competitions, but that does not mean a particular past or upcoming match is available. Check the Streamer schedule and listings for current events and replays. Do not assume a 2023 broadcast remains in the catalogue.
How to find a match or replay on Streamer
- Open Streamer and look for the sport, competition, club or match.
- Open the relevant competition or event listing and select the live event or replay if one is available.
- Sign in or create an account if prompted. Streamer’s current FAQ says registration uses an email address and password.
- Check the event’s access prompt before paying: most games are free, but some competitions require a League Pass. A Digital Fan Pass is optional and adds highlight creation rather than being a universal unlock for every competition.
If playback fails, check your connection, refresh the page and try an up-to-date browser; another device or network can help isolate the problem. Streamer says match-streaming responsibility generally sits with the league, club or production company, so contact them if the feed itself is missing or faulty; contact Streamer if the issue appears to affect the platform. Streamer’s FAQ includes account and playback guidance.
What this guide can—and cannot—tell you
It records the fixtures and editorial previews promoted for 21–23 July 2023. It does not provide a full NPL schedule, confirm every broadcast’s live or replay status, report final results, or establish the 2023 price of a PSA League Pass. Streamer is the better source for present-day listings and access prompts; its current terms say subscribers must be Australian residents and at least 18 years old, a qualification relevant to paid-account eligibility rather than proof that all publicly visible content is restricted to that audience. See Streamer’s terms.
