The series is led by writer, executive producer and showrunner Mike Flanagan, with King also serving as an executive producer, according to King’s official series page. Amazon calls it “a bold, timely, and surprising reinvention of this classic coming-of-age story”; that is the studio’s promotional description, not an independent review.
