Wie schaltet ihr Drohnen-Upgrades frei?
Im Verlauf eures ersten Besuchs in Xion stellt Lily die Drohnen-Upgrades vor. Danach erreicht ihr das Upgrade-Menü bei Lily oder an Reparaturstationen in Versorgungslagern. Die Freischaltung wird in den Guides unterschiedlich detailliert beschrieben; sie ordnen sie beide dem ersten Xion-Abschnitt zu. The Escapist und Gamepressure beschreiben den Ablauf.

Beginnt mit dem Hacking Tool, wenn ihr verschlossene Truhen öffnen wollt. Die Scanner-Upgrades helfen, länger am Stück oder mit kürzerer Pause zu scannen; der Can Detector unterstützt gezielt bei den Sammeldosen. Diese Reihenfolge ist eine Orientierung, keine Pflicht: Wählt zuerst den Nutzen, der euch in den gerade gespielten Bereichen am meisten hilft.
Wenn ihr öfter auf Fernkampf setzt
Enhanced Slugs verbessern die normalen Projektile, während Slug Magazine Expansion den Vorrat erhöht. Das ist besonders dann passend, wenn ein Abschnitt viel Fernkampf verlangt. Die weiteren Module eröffnen andere Schussarten und sind daher eine Wahl für Spieler, die zusätzliche Fernkampfoptionen statt nur stärkerer oder zahlreicherer Standardschüsse möchten.

Was ändert sich in New Game Plus?
New Game Plus ist von den frühen Drohnen-Upgrades des ersten Durchlaufs zu unterscheiden. Shift Up kündigte zum Start fünf neue Drone Skills für New Game Plus an und erklärte, dass sich die Drohne weiter verbessern lässt, um stärkere Fernkampfangriffe zu ermöglichen. Im PlayStation Blog sagte Director Kim Hyung Tae: “You can also upgrade your Drone to increase the power of your ranged attacks.”
