Operational EBITDA grew 60.08% to ₹30.9 crore, reflecting faster growth in earnings than in revenue. The quarter ended June 30, 2026; the board approved the unaudited results on October 5.

Business Standard reported the following figures for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Its operational EBITDA figure excludes other income.

CNBC TV18’s October 6 report on TradingView used rounded figures: ₹128 crore revenue, ₹31 crore EBITDA and ₹18 crore profit after tax, compared with ₹113 crore, ₹19 crore and ₹10.2 crore a year earlier. It put EBITDA margin at 24%, up from 17%. Those rounded EBITDA figures and the more precise operational EBITDA figures above are not different measures to combine; the more precise figures are Business Standard’s operational EBITDA excluding other income.

Steam revenue and supply
Steam revenue was ₹123 crore, up from ₹84.5 crore a year earlier, according to CNBC TV18. The report said steam accounted for 73.7% of revenue through generation and distribution, while purchasing and distributing steam contributed a further 22.2%.

Steam supply volume rose 16.7% year on year and 11.5% quarter on quarter. Business Standard reported sales of 305,816 tonnes during the quarter. Revenue growth and volume growth are distinct measures: the reported increase in steam revenue was larger than the increase in supply volume.
Coal costs and pass-through
The company said geopolitical uncertainty had increased inflationary pressure, including on coal prices, while steam margins were maintained through a pass-through mechanism. Business Standard described the mechanism as changes in coal costs being passed on to customers.

Steamhouse’s industrial steam business
Steamhouse generates and distributes industrial steam using community boilers and pipeline networks. CNBC TV18 reported seven community steam boilers, approximately 345 tonnes per hour of installed steam capacity, more than 50 km of pipelines and over 170 industrial customers, with a major presence in Gujarat industrial clusters. The company also works in nitrogen distribution, waste-to-steam projects and other industrial utility solutions.

How the share reacted on October 6
CNBC TV18 reported that Steamhouse shares gained 6% on October 6, 2026, following the results. A separate Economic Times company-feed report said the shares reached a 10% upper circuit. These are time-specific reports and do not establish the return at the same measurement time or quote; they should not be read as conflicting measurements of one identical price point.

The Economic Times feed also reported that the stock debuted at ₹94.50 on September 17, 2026, a 17% premium to its issue price. That listing context is separate from the October 6 post-results move.

For the quarter, reported earnings grew considerably faster than revenue, alongside increased steam supply and higher steam revenue. The company attributed protection of steam margins against coal-cost pressure to customer pass-through. These results describe one quarter and do not, by themselves, establish whether the growth rates or margin will continue.
