Why buying the kit from a retailer can disqualify the reward

The regular price returns later
When the promotional period ends, the cited terms say full plan pricing returns. Calculate your expected cost using that later rate rather than treating the introductory price as permanent. Starlink can also change ordinary plan prices under its normal service terms, so keep the post-promotion price shown in your account or order documents.
Actions that end the promotion
The general terms say changing plans, cancelling service, or having the account suspended ends promotional pricing. Roam customers must also be physically in the activation country to remain eligible under those terms. A promotion described as having no commitment therefore still has operational conditions that can remove the discount.
A separate European €250 service-credit offer
Starlink has also published a specific European offer document for a €250 service credit. It applies to eligible Standard Kits bought from authorized European retailers together with an eligible 12-month Residential plan. Eligibility depends on the service address.
Under that document, the credit is deposited 30 days after activation and applied against monthly service fees. It describes a prorated change fee for listed actions before the 12-month term ends, including cancellation, changing the service address or plan, late payment, or transferring the kit. The document says the offer may be discontinued at any time.

This is an example of one published offer, not a general rule for every Starlink promotion. The amount to budget is the full price displayed in your account or order terms, not a universal figure. Taxes, currency, plan changes, and later Starlink price updates can affect the final bill.
A referral reward does not necessarily prevent a later price increase. A free month or service credit offsets a defined bill; it does not permanently change the plan’s standard rate.
