Star Wars: Galactic Racer launched on Amazon Luna on October 6, 2026, with its single-player campaign, Arcade mode and Scenarios mode included at no additional charge for eligible Prime members in territories where Luna is available with Prime. “Free” here means included with that subscription—not a standalone free download.
What Prime members can play on Luna
Contemporaneous launch coverage reports that the Luna offer includes Star Wars: Galactic Racer’s single-player campaign, plus Arcade and Scenarios modes. Amazon described the game as a day-one Luna launch. Jeff Gattis, Amazon’s Head of Gaming, said: “We’ve always believed Luna players deserve to be in the action from day one, and Star Wars: Galactic Racer makes that a reality for the first time.” Neowin and Video Games Chronicle reported the offer and the announcement.

What kind of game is Galactic Racer?
Developed by Fuse Games, Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a racing game set around the Galactic League in the early New Republic era. Players take the role of Shade. The reported Luna inclusion is a way to stream the campaign and the two named additional modes; it does not mean the game has been released as a free standalone download. Luna access or a separate PC and console copy?
Coverage also reports PC and console releases on October 6, 2026. The choice is between streaming through the Prime benefit where supported and purchasing a separate copy for a platform you own. These are different access arrangements, not interchangeable promises about price or ownership.
