For the most efficient completion route, finish the campaign once, prepare for the Champion-difficulty championship win, then work through the repeatable Galactic Gauntlet goals, remaining campaign challenges and Arcade gold times. PowerPyx estimates 70–100 hours for the PS5 Platinum and rates the task 8/10 difficulty; it identifies the 50 base-game Arcade golds as the biggest hurdle. Those are guide estimates, not guaranteed completion times.
STAR WARS: Galactic Racer’s official FAQ confirms trophies on PlayStation and achievements on Xbox and Steam. The cited guides list 50 PS5 trophies, including the Platinum, and 49 achievements for Xbox and Steam. This roadmap follows PowerPyx’s suggested order; after Champion difficulty unlocks, its remaining cleanup steps can be completed in any order.

How to approach the completion route
- Finish the campaign once. This unlocks Champion difficulty, according to PowerPyx. As you progress, keep an eye on sidebets and Rival encounters: the guide recommends tracking the head-to-head races needed to beat all 11 Rivals rather than leaving every one for a separate cleanup pass.
- Prepare, then win the required Champion championship. PowerPyx suggests considering a few extra runs first to unlock or improve Favors, parts, abilities or Racer Styles. Champion makes opponents more skilled and aggressive and tightens crash allowances. The reported trophy condition is defeating Kestar Bool in the Galactic League Championship on Champion difficulty. The guides do not say that every campaign act must be replayed on Champion.
- Work through repeatable Galactic Gauntlet goals. Repeat Act 2 or Act 3 until you have won the Galactic Gauntlet with all 20 Favors, all 14 Racer Styles and all three vehicle types. Before each attempt, check which Favor and Racer Style you have equipped so that the run advances a different checklist item. PowerPyx recommends Act 2 for repeats because Act 3 includes an extra planet and more story Podracing events.
- Clear the remaining campaign challenges. Complete all 12 Tales of Podracing and win the head-to-head races against all 11 Rivals. Keep a simple checklist: the guide’s counts make it easy to see what is still outstanding.
- Collect one-off and system trophies as convenient. The lists include campaign milestones, vehicle customization, ability and upgrade use, sidebets, backer ratings, race checks and specific driving feats, including overheating the Ramjet and crossing a speed threshold. Check each condition in a published trophy list instead of assuming these unlock automatically.
- Earn gold in every base Arcade event. The PS5 trophy requires beating all 50 base-game Arcade gold times. PowerPyx calls these time trials the hardest part of the Platinum. Deluxe adds three Arcade events, but its guide says the DLC is not required for the Platinum.
- Claim the Platinum. On PS5, Galactic Champion is awarded after you obtain all the other trophies.
How long and how difficult is the Platinum?
PowerPyx’s 2026 estimate is 70–100 hours, with an 8/10 difficulty rating. Both figures are the guide’s assessment; it says skill and luck affect the time, and points to the 50 Arcade gold time trials as the main difficulty. Its PS5 breakdown is 50 trophies: one Platinum, one Gold, 10 Silver and 38 Bronze.

The official FAQ confirms that PlayStation has trophies and Xbox and Steam have achievements. The one-item difference reflects the PS5 Platinum trophy; it does not mean Xbox or Steam have a separate Platinum equivalent.
Can you play offline, and are any trophies missable?
The official game FAQ says the solo campaign, Arcade events and Scenarios can be played offline. Downloading patches and updates and using online features require an internet connection; on PC, internet is also required for first-launch authentication. PowerPyx reports no missable or online trophies, so the route does not require online play for trophy progress according to that guide.

Do you need Deluxe or downloadable content?
No DLC is required for the PS5 Platinum, according to PowerPyx. The guide says Deluxe adds three Arcade events beyond the 50 base events used for the gold-time requirement. If you are choosing an edition, compare the content you want rather than buying Deluxe solely for completion: the official game site lists physical Standard and Deluxe editions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, plus a physical Collector’s Edition for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Edition availability can vary by region.
