- Measure your seated setup. Record the height at which your keyboard and mouse let your arms rest comfortably while seated.
- Measure your standing setup. Check the equivalent comfortable working height while standing, keeping elbows and wrists relaxed.

For a converter, measure the existing desk and platform
Check the old desktop’s depth, width, thickness if the unit clamps on, and the space available for the converter’s base and work area.
