Samsung’s product listings distinguish Galaxy Watch8, Galaxy Watch8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra. That matters because their band attachments are not interchangeable. Check the watch’s model name in its settings or on its packaging before shopping; do not rely on “Watch 8 Ultra” as a product name.

What band fits Galaxy Watch Ultra?
Samsung says the Galaxy Watch Ultra can only be used with its dedicated bands. The Ultra has a dynamic lug system, and Samsung gives its connection width as 34 mm. Galaxy Watch Ultra bands are not compatible with other Galaxy Watch models. A standard 20 mm or 22 mm spring-bar band is therefore not a direct-fit choice just because its width seems close; an adapter would need separate evidence that it works with the Ultra.

What about Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic?
Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic use a different dedicated attachment mechanism. Samsung says the Watch8 series is not compatible with bands from previously released models, although the two Watch8 models are mutually compatible. These Watch8 bands are not a substitute for Ultra-specific bands.
