Stage Tour is listed as an Xbox Play Anywhere title, and RedOctane’s October 7, 2026 update had confirmed 61 songs. That is not the final soundtrack: the publisher says more than 90 licensed songs will be included at launch. The game is scheduled to arrive December 10, 2026.
What Xbox Play Anywhere support means for Stage Tour
The Xbox Store listing identifies Stage Tour as supporting Xbox Play Anywhere. That is the confirmed scope of the announcement; it should not be read as a promise of support on every platform where the game is planned to release. RedOctane has also announced versions for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.

The Xbox listing also says online multiplayer on Xbox console may require a separately sold Game Pass subscription. That requirement is specific to online play on Xbox console; the listing does not make it a requirement for every mode or platform.

How many songs are confirmed, and how many are planned?
RedOctane’s October 7, 2026 cumulative reveal named 61 songs. The company says the launch soundtrack will contain over 90 songs spanning six decades, so the published 61-track list is a snapshot, not a complete or final setlist. RedOctane scheduled its next setlist reveal for October 21, making the count time-sensitive.

What you can play, and what hardware you may need
RedOctane’s FAQ lists Lead, Groove, Drums and Vocals as instrument roles, plus Arcade 4-Lane and Arcade 5-Lane modes. The Arcade modes are designed for a standard gamepad or keyboard, so instrument hardware is not mandatory for those modes. Traditional instrument roles use dedicated controllers where available.

Compatibility depends on the device and platform
- Stage Tour guitar and drum controllers for Xbox Series X|S are also stated to work on Xbox One.
- Microphones are described as not platform-specific.
- Some modern instrument controllers are expected to work natively on the platforms they support.
- Legacy Xbox 360, Wii, PS3 and PS2 instruments may require an adapter, particularly on consoles. Do not assume that every older Guitar Hero or Rock Band controller will work.
RedOctane lists a Kramer wireless guitar controller, drum kit, microphone, kick pedal and cymbal expansion, along with game-and-hardware bundles. Before buying an instrument or adapter, check compatibility for the exact controller and platform. A gamepad or keyboard is an option for Arcade play.
