That is Sportzino’s published eligibility policy—not a state regulator’s legal determination that the service is authorized everywhere else. Access to particular features also differs: Tennessee users cannot play with Sweep Coins, and Sportzino’s California notice describes social-platform-only access.
What Sportzino’s state policy says
Sportzino’s Terms & Conditions list Idaho, Michigan, Georgia, California, New York, and Washington as excluded from account eligibility. The terms say only players in the United States outside those states are eligible to create an account. This describes the company’s own platform policy; it does not establish that a government has approved Sportzino or issued a state-by-state legal opinion about it.

The terms also call on users to check whether participation is legal where they are located: “All Users are solely responsible for ascertaining whether it is legal in your jurisdiction to participate on our Website and Mobile Application.” The same terms prohibit accessing the service from an excluded territory, including through a VPN. A VPN is not a permitted workaround.

Account eligibility and game access are different
A state’s account status does not tell the whole story about which features are available. Sportzino has issued separate notices about Sweep Coins gameplay in Tennessee and California.

| Location | Account or access status in Sportzino’s published materials | Sweep Coins gameplay |
|---|---|---|
| Idaho, Michigan, Georgia, Washington, California, New York | Listed as excluded from account eligibility in the June 24, 2026 Terms & Conditions. | Not separately stated for each state in the cited terms. |
| Tennessee | The notice addresses users located in Tennessee; it does not list Tennessee among the six excluded states in the terms. | Unavailable beginning January 22, 2026; Sportzino says Gold Coins gameplay remains available. |
| California | The terms exclude California from account eligibility. A separate notice describes access for affected California-located players as social-platform-only. | Ended December 22, 2025, according to the California notice. |
What to know about Tennessee and California
Tennessee
Sportzino’s Tennessee notice says users located in the state could no longer play games using Sweep Coins starting January 22, 2026. It says Gold Coins gameplay continues. This is a feature restriction, distinct from the six-state account exclusion list.
California
Sportzino’s California notice says players located there have access to the social platform only and that Sweep Coins gameplay ended December 22, 2025. California also appears on the terms’ excluded-state list. Read the notice as describing access for affected existing users, not as overriding the terms’ account-eligibility rule.

How to check your eligibility before using Sportzino
- Check your location against the current terms. Review Sportzino’s Terms & Conditions and look for its “Permitted Territory” and “Excluded Territory” language. The version dated June 24, 2026, names Idaho, Michigan, Georgia, Washington, California, and New York as excluded from account eligibility.
- Check for a state-specific notice. Tennessee and California have separate notices about feature access, so do not assume an account policy alone answers whether a particular type of gameplay is available.
- Confirm local rules yourself. Sportzino places responsibility for ascertaining local legality on users. Its published availability policy is not a substitute for legal advice or an official state determination.
- Do not try to bypass a restriction. Sportzino’s terms prohibit accessing the service from an excluded territory through a VPN.
- Check the age requirement. Sportzino’s support page says the US minimum age is 18, with age limits depending on location.
Why the answer can change
State availability and individual game features can change on different schedules. Sportzino’s state map is titled “Sportzino’s Operating States,” but its accessible text does not expose the state names. The named exclusions above therefore come from the terms, while the Tennessee and California qualifications come from the company’s state notices. Recheck the current terms and any notice for your location before relying on this information.
