Keep the Wii game separate from Spore Hero Arena
Spore Hero Arena is a separate Nintendo DS game in the same universe. Nintendo describes that game with its own premise involving arena champions and rogue red meteors. Those details are not evidence about a scene in the Wii version, Spore Hero, and should not be used as its walkthrough.

Release dates by region
The dates differ by region, not necessarily by conflicting accounts. Nintendo UK lists the Wii game’s release as 9 October 2009. EA’s North American launch announcement is dated 6 October 2009 and says the game was then available at North American retailers; EA also gives 9 October for international store shelves. These are the dates stated by those publishers for their respective markets.
