What is the Spinaleze Medium Profile Pillow?

Will the medium profile fit you?
Spinaleze says medium is most popular for side sleepers up to 180 cm and back sleepers at or above 180 cm. Its product page instead says the pillow is intended for side sleepers under 182 cm. The FAQ suggests a high profile for taller side sleepers or people with broad shoulders. This overlap and the slightly different cutoff make clear that height alone is not a precise fit test. Sleep position, shoulder width, how much your mattress lets your shoulder sink, and personal comfort also matter. The manufacturer FAQ lists a Sydney clinic at Suite 4/197 Military Road, Neutral Bay, where customers may try the pillow; check current opening hours before visiting.

Published dimensions differ by source: the manufacturer FAQ gives 55 × 36 cm, with a height of 12.5 cm at the front and 14 cm at the rear; CHOICE lists 57 × 37 cm and 13 cm high. If exact fit matters, confirm the dimensions with the seller before ordering. Spinaleze says it fits a standard pillowcase and comes with a removable 100% cotton cover.

Under the seller’s current returns policy, opened or used products cannot be returned. A sealed pillow in its original packaging may be returned within seven days of delivery, but the buyer pays return postage. That is not a trial period in which you can sleep on the pillow and then return it.

Buyers should contact Spinaleze with an invoice or order number; delivery damage must be reported within 12 hours, and ordinary wear over time is not treated as a defect. Because the CHOICE listing reviewed says “none stated” for warranty while the seller page gives these terms, check the current policy and retain the purchase details.

Does it relieve neck pain or improve sleep?
Spinaleze claims the pillow supports neck and spinal alignment and refers to more than a decade of research. Those are manufacturer claims: the sources reviewed do not establish a clinical trial or independent validation for this particular model. A 2021 systematic review and meta-analysis by Johnson Pang Chun-Yiu, Sharon Tsang Man-Ha and Allan Fu Chak-Lun covered 35 studies, including nine high-quality studies involving 555 participants. It reported favorable chronic-neck-pain findings for rubber pillows, but it did not test or prove the effectiveness of the Spinaleze Medium Profile Pillow.
The authors wrote that “The use of spring and rubber pillows are effective in reducing neck pain, waking symptoms, and disability and enhancing pillow satisfaction in patients with chronic neck pain.” They also found that “Pillow designs did not influence sleep quality (SMD = 0.047; P = 0.703) in patients with chronic neck pain.” These findings apply to the pillow categories and chronic-neck-pain population included in the review, not to this exact product. Consider the Medium Profile if you are an Australian shopper seeking a medium-firm, aerated visco-elastic pillow, fit the manufacturer’s approximate guidance, and are comfortable buying without being able to return it after opening. It is a riskier choice if you are unsure about loft or material feel, need a genuine at-home trial, or are buying specifically for a proven pain-relief effect.
