The deleted hospital footage from Spider-Man: Brand New Day shows medical staff removing Spider-Man’s mask while treating him. According to reports about the clip, the staff honored Peter Parker’s wish to keep his identity private—so they saw his face, but did not expose him.
What happens in the deleted hospital scene?
GamesRadar+ reports that the footage fills in a gap after Peter is rushed to hospital for emergency surgery: medical staff remove his Spider-Man mask in the operating theater. SuperHeroHype describes Peter gasping and looking terrified as medics treat his injuries.

The theatrical cut skips that moment. It moves from Peter’s arrival for surgery to his later recovery in a hospital bed, leaving viewers to wonder how his identity remained secret after staff treated him.

In its account of the clip, SuperHeroHype says the hospital staff honored Peter’s wish to remain anonymous. That suggests the medical team could see his face but kept his identity confidential at his request. This is an explanation reported from the scene, not a confirmed statement from Marvel or Sony about the filmmakers’ intent.

Is this the same as the Claire Temple deleted scene?
No. Popverse describes a separate deleted scene featuring Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, set earlier in the story after a fight with Scorpion. That scene is distinct from the operating-theater moment in which hospital staff remove Peter’s mask.
