Sous Raccoon reached version 1.0 on Steam on October 1, 2026. Developer Novice Flow calls it the game’s biggest update so far, with Endless Mode, minigames, skins and room decoration among the additions. It is a cooking roguelite about a raccoon sous chef, with online co-op also listed on Steam.
What is Sous Raccoon?
Sous Raccoon is an “adorably hardcore cooking roguelite,” according to its Steam store page. You play as a raccoon hired as a sous chef, handling customers and the escalating chaos of a restaurant. Novice Flow developed the game, and Rising Tide published it.

When did Sous Raccoon leave Early Access?
The full 1.0 release arrived on Steam on October 1, 2026. Novice Flow had announced that date on September 9, then confirmed the release was live in its October 1 Steam Community announcement, which opened with “Sous Raccoon 1.0 is here!”

Novice Flow describes 1.0 as the game’s biggest update to date. The developer highlighted four additions:

How does Endless Mode work?
In Endless Mode, the aim is to keep the restaurant running as the challenge grows. Novice Flow says each day brings more customers and monsters. When a run ends, the game shows a score summary and a Steam leaderboard, giving players a way to compare results.
