Android Authority reported on October 8, 2026, that Amazon was selling the soundcore AeroClip for $105.99, down $64—or 38%—from a stated $169.99 recommended retail price. That is a dated deal report, not a guaranteed current price: check the live Amazon listing for the price, seller, stock, and color before buying.
What the reported Amazon deal means
The $105.99 price and 38% discount were reported by Android Authority on October 8, 2026. The percentage is calculated against the reported $169.99 recommended retail price; it is not proof that Amazon’s offer is still available or that $169.99 is the product’s usual selling price. Soundcore’s US product page displayed its own manufacturer offer and a $169.99 price when accessed, which is separate from the reported Amazon deal.

Soundcore describes the AeroClip as open-ear clip-on earbuds. They sit on the ear rather than going into the ear canal, making them an option for listeners who dislike in-ear buds or want to remain more aware of nearby sounds. The trade-off is that an open-ear design does not isolate you from environmental noise. A Soundcore UK customer review reported difficulty hearing the earbuds in a noisy station; that is one person’s experience, not a controlled listening test.

Features and specifications
Soundcore’s US product page lists Bluetooth 5.4, multipoint connectivity, tap controls, four microphones, and a weight of 6.0 g per earbud. It also specifies IP55 water resistance. The open-ring construction uses memory titanium wire and soft TPU, and Soundcore says it is designed to tolerate 20,000 bends; that is a manufacturer claim, not independent durability testing.
Battery life in context
Soundcore rates the AeroClip for up to 8 hours of playback per charge and up to 32 hours with the charging case. Its FAQ says typical continuous music playback is about 8 hours at 50% volume with the default Signature sound effect. Louder playback and extra app features can reduce battery life, so treat the maximum figures as estimates rather than a guarantee for every listening pattern.
Rank #2
- Open Ear Earbuds Over Ear for Running & Gym: Clip-on design sits comfortably over your ear without blocking the ear canal. Perfect for running, workouts, and sports—stay aware of surroundings. More comfortable than in-ear, better sound than bone conduction.
- FlexiClip Design, Secure Fit: Memory titanium FlexiClip adapts to any ear shape for all-day comfort. Ultra-lightweight and stable—won't fall off during intense workouts or running. Designed for active lifestyles.
- Powerful Bass, 12mm Drivers: Custom 12mm drivers deliver deep bass and 86dB max output. Clear, loud sound for gym workouts and running—superior audio quality compared to bone conduction headphones.
- AI Clear Calls: Advanced AI filters background noise for crystal-clear calls during outdoor running, gym workouts, or commutes. Perfect for work calls on the go.
- 28H Playtime : 7 hours single charge, 28 hours with case. IP55 waterproof protects against sweat and rain during outdoor running and gym sessions. Bluetooth 6.0 for ultra-stable connection.
Water resistance has limits
Soundcore’s support FAQ says, “IP55 does not protect against submersion in water.” The FAQ describes light sweat and slight rain as suitable conditions and advises wiping moisture from the earbuds before putting them back in the case. The rating is not a reason to wear them while swimming or to submerge them.
Who should consider buying at this price?
- Consider them if you prefer a clip-on fit that stays outside the ear canal, want an open-ear listening style, and the live price is attractive to you.
- Think carefully if you need strong isolation from traffic, crowds, or other environmental sound; open-ear earbuds do not block it.
- Check your expectations if you need all-day playback at high volume, since Soundcore’s battery estimate can fall with louder listening and added app features.
- Match the rating to your routine if sweat or light rain is a concern; IP55 is not protection against submersion.
How multipoint switching works
Soundcore says Dual Connections is enabled by default. With two devices connected, audio switches to whichever device starts playback last. Notifications can also trigger a switch, which may be useful for moving between devices but can interrupt playback unexpectedly.

Bottom line on the AeroClip discount
The reported $105.99 Amazon price would be $64 below the cited $169.99 reference price, but it was reported on October 8, 2026, and may have changed. Whether the AeroClip is a good fit depends less on the discount percentage than on whether you want open-ear clip-on earbuds rather than in-ear isolation. Confirm the current listing details before purchasing.
