Choose the E 15mm F1.4 G instead for a fixed wide composition and a brighter aperture. First check your camera: the ZV-1 II has a built-in lens and cannot use either E-mount lens.
Check whether your Sony camera accepts interchangeable lenses
The ZV-E10 II is an APS-C E-mount camera, so it accepts compatible E-mount lenses. The ZV-1 II is a compact camera with its lens built in: Sony specifies an 18–50mm full-frame-equivalent zoom with an F1.8–F4.0 maximum aperture. You cannot replace that lens with an E-mount model. Check Sony’s ZV-E10 II product information and ZV-1 II specifications for model details.

Figures for the 10-20mm and 15mm lenses are from Sony’s specifications; Sony does not state a publication year alongside these figures. - Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
For a very wide view and smooth zooming: E PZ 10-20mm F4 G
This lens covers 10–20mm on APS-C, equivalent to 15–30mm in full-frame terms. Its constant F4 aperture means the maximum aperture does not change across the zoom range. The powered zoom lets you adjust framing without turning the lens by hand, and Sony says the lens length stays constant while zooming—a useful property for maintaining balance on a gimbal. At 178 g, it is also a lightweight option. The compromise is F4 rather than the brighter F1.4 of the prime, and Sony specifies no optical stabilization for the lens.
For dim interiors or a fixed wide frame: E 15mm F1.4 G
The 15mm prime gives a 22.5mm full-frame-equivalent view on APS-C. Its F1.4 maximum aperture offers more flexibility in low light and can help separate a subject from the background, depending on distance and framing. Sony lists video-oriented features including minimal focus breathing, Linear Response MF, and a de-clickable aperture ring. At 219 g, it is heavier than the 10-20mm zoom, and its fixed focal length means you must reframe by moving the camera or changing your composition. Sony specifies no optical stabilization.

For an all-purpose first lens: E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II
Sony lists this compact APS-C power zoom with Optical SteadyShot as a ZV-E10 II kit option. Its standard zoom range is a practical starting point for varied subjects; check the widest framing in your own arm’s-length setup before deciding whether to add a wider lens. Sony’s ZV-E10 II specifications list the kit option at the camera’s specifications page.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsPlan for stabilization when shooting handheld
Sony says the ZV-E10 II does not have mechanical in-body stabilization. Its Active electronic video stabilization can help steady footage, but it crops the view. Neither the 10-20mm F4 G nor the 15mm F1.4 G has optical stabilization, so selecting one of these lenses does not add optical correction for camera shake. For a handheld selfie shot, test the framing with stabilization enabled: the crop narrows the view, which matters most when you need to keep your face and the surroundings in frame. Consider a stabilized lens, support, or a more stable shooting technique if that crop or handheld motion is a problem.

Audio: start with the built-in microphone, then upgrade when needed
The ZV-E10 II has a three-capsule built-in microphone that can select pickup direction, and Sony supplies a wind screen that attaches to the Multi Interface Shoe. The camera also has a 3.5mm microphone input and a compatible Multi Interface Shoe for supported external microphones, including digital audio devices. An external microphone is a situational upgrade, not a mandatory purchase: Sony recommends considering one when sound is especially critical. Check compatibility for your exact camera and mic. See Sony’s microphone tips for the ZV-E10 II and accessory compatibility guidance.
Grip and tabletop support: GP-VPT2BT
Sony describes the GP-VPT2BT Shooting Grip with Wireless Remote Commander as offering zoom and shooting controls for one-handed operation and as usable as a tripod. That makes it a possible aid for self-recording or product demonstrations. Confirm compatibility with the camera and current regional availability on Sony’s accessory information before buying.
