WH-CH530 and WH-CH520: on-ear, without ANC
The WH-CH530 is an on-ear model without active noise cancellation. The WH-CH520 is its predecessor and also lacks ANC. The reported price difference is not by itself enough to establish which is the better buy; compare the exact listing and the features you want.

WH-1000XM5: premium, previous-generation option
The WH-1000XM5 was reported at $198, against a recent price of $248 and a launch price of $399, as cited by TechRadar. Those reference points are not independently verified price-history data, so they do not establish the model’s typical selling price.
Is the Sony offer still live?
Amazon’s official U.S. announcement says Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6–7, 2026, and that event deals are exclusive to Prime members, limited-time and subject to availability. That event-wide information does not confirm that any of these Sony models is currently discounted. Verify the live price, stock, color or other variant, and Prime eligibility on the product listing before placing an order.

Amazon says new Today’s Big Deals are scheduled to drop at midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Pacific time during the event. This schedule does not guarantee that a Sony headphone deal will appear in a particular drop.
What the deal report does—and does not—establish
TechRadar said it had not reviewed the two newest products it highlighted, the WH-CH730N and WH-CH530. Its reported discounts therefore should not be read as hands-on recommendations for those models. A lower listed price alone cannot establish sound quality, comfort or value.
