Yes: SEGA officially named a Year Two course Godzilla Escape. An October 9, 2026 preview describes it as a return to the Sonic Adventure 2 stage City Escape, with Godzilla rampaging through the route. The course name is confirmed by SEGA; the City Escape connection comes from the preview.
What SEGA has confirmed about Year Two
SEGA announced Season Pass 2 for fall 2026, naming Godzilla and EVANGELION among its crossover packs. The pass is planned to include six packs; when SEGA made the announcement, four additional crossover packs had not yet been revealed. The official announcement calls the Godzilla course Godzilla Escape and lists Tokyo-III as the new EVANGELION course. SEGA’s June 6, 2026 announcement establishes the pass window and these names.

How Godzilla Escape connects to City Escape
In a preview published October 9, Ozzie Mejia of Shacknews describes Godzilla Escape as using the familiar City Escape layout from Sonic Adventure 2. Racers must navigate the route while avoiding Godzilla’s rampage, according to the preview. That is showcase reporting, not a detail stated in SEGA’s June announcement. Read the Shacknews preview.
What else has been shown—and what is still unclear
SEGA’s September update identified Godzilla and EVANGELION as the first two Year Two DLC packs. It also showed a free Bayonetta character, Butterfly Witch machine, and related emotes and sounds. That Bayonetta content is separate from the paid Godzilla pack. SEGA’s September update describes the reveals.

SEGA said on October 8 that more Season 2 information would be shared at the World Championship Finals on October 10, Japan-local time. The available preview appeared October 9. The reviewed announcements and preview do not establish the final Season Pass 2 price, the Godzilla pack’s exact release date, its complete final contents, or every regional storefront option. SEGA’s fall 2026 window refers to the pass, not a confirmed release date for this particular pack. SEGA’s October 8 notice.

SEGA announced a physical Nintendo Switch 2 edition of the base game. Its January 2026 announcement says early purchases include a download code for the Werehog Pack; it does not say Season Pass 2 or Godzilla Escape is included. Treat the physical edition as the base game, not a bundle of the Year Two DLC. SEGA’s January 13 announcement.
