There is no single best Solo Leveling: Arise team for every account or encounter. Use tier lists to shortlist hunters and weapons, then choose from your own roster based on the enemy’s element, Break or shield requirements, and the damage and support roles your team needs. The latest lists in this guide are editorial snapshots dated October 1 and October 4, 2026—not official game rankings—and recent balance changes make checking the live patch and draw pool essential.
Who are the best hunters in Solo Leveling: Arise?
Two current guides offer different answers. Pocket Gamer’s list, marked updated October 4, 2026 for version 1.4.46, places the following hunters in S+: Lee Joohe (Pilgrim of the Labyrinth), Meri Laine, Minnie, Lennart Niermann, Merlin Fisher, Cha Hae-In, Min Byung-Gu, Silver Mane Baek Yonhoo, Choi Jong-In, Emma Laurent, and Seo Jiwoo. It places Diana Lopez, Antoine Martinez, Thomas Andre, and others in S or A.

Gacha Go!’s hunter list, marked updated October 1, 2026, puts Liu Zhigang, Antoine Martinez, Sian Halat, Fern, Frieren, Sung Il-Hwan, Minnie, Yuqi, Lennart Niermann, Cha Hae-In (Pure Sword Princess), Han Se-Mi, Goto Ryuji, Isla, and Min Byung-Gu in S. It places Thomas Andre and Seo Jiwoo in C.
Why tier lists disagree
Seo Jiwoo is a clear example: Pocket Gamer rates her S+, while Gacha Go! rates her C. These are editorial judgments, not official measurements, and their lists should not be averaged as if tier letters were comparable performance scores. Gacha Go! says it considers raw damage, support utility, and shield-breaking efficiency; it also notes that elemental weaknesses and Break mechanics matter in high-level content. Roster, encounter, matchup, and investment can all affect how useful a unit is in practice.

Netmarble’s September 15, 2026 developer note says the September update included broad balance adjustments to Hunters and Sung Jinwoo’s weapons. That makes dates and versions important when consulting any tier list: later patches may change practical value.
What are the best weapons in Solo Leveling: Arise?
Pocket Gamer’s October 4, 2026 version 1.4.46 list marks these weapons S+: Thetis’ Grimoire, Tome of the Aurora, Soma & Asura, Stormbringer, Winchester Roke, Transfiguration Key, Winterbreaker, Demonic Plum Flower Sword, The Huntsman, Thethis’ Grimoire, Demon King’s Longsword, Suppressed White Tiger’s Soul, Eternal Slumber, Night-Thoughts, The Sword of Light, Howling White Tiger’s Soul, West Wind, and Radiru Clan’s Double-edged Spear.

The list renders both “Thetis’ Grimoire” and “Thethis’ Grimoire.” Treat those spellings as the guide presents them rather than assuming they are separate recommendations or silently correcting a naming inconsistency. A tier placement is not proof that a weapon is currently obtainable or best for every build.

Weapon pulls Pocket Gamer highlights
For players prioritizing weapons in Custom Draw, Pocket Gamer calls out Demonic Plum Flower Sword, The Huntsman, Thethis’ Grimoire, and Demon King’s Longsword. These are that guide’s recommendations, not a guarantee that the items are in the current draw pool. Confirm the live in-game pool before committing tickets or Essence Stones.

Weapons add battle effects and stats, and Pocket Gamer says a hunter becomes stronger with the relevant default weapon. That does not establish a complete hunter-to-weapon compatibility chart; check the actual weapon and character details in-game instead of inferring a pairing from tier rank alone.
How do I build a team around my best units?
Start with the content you are about to play, not the highest tier label on your account. The available sources do not establish a universal best lineup or verified mode-by-mode rotations, so use this encounter-first checklist to make a team from the hunters you actually own.

- Check the encounter. Identify the enemy’s elemental weakness and whether it has a Break or shield gauge. Gacha Go! specifically points to elemental weaknesses and Break mechanics as relevant in high-level content.
- Choose for jobs. Compare the damage contribution, support utility, and Break or shield performance available from your roster. These are the ranking axes Gacha Go! says it uses; they are useful questions to ask, not a guaranteed formula for every stage.
- Check weapon fit. Review a hunter’s weapon effects and stats, including whether the relevant default weapon is available to you. Do not assume a full compatibility recommendation from the tier lists.
- Verify access before spending. Check the current in-game banner, rate-up selection, and your ticket and Essence Stone resources. Pocket Gamer notes that not every hunter is selectable in Custom Draw, so a guide’s pull suggestion may not be actionable for your account.
- Reassess after balance changes. Confirm the current game version and recent update notes before investing scarce upgrade resources based on an older list.
Should you spend draw resources or save them?
Use recommendations as a shortlist, then decide whether a pull addresses a real gap in your roster. Pocket Gamer names Min Byung-Gu, Choi Jong-In, Emma Laurent, and Seo Jiwoo for Custom Draw hunter rate-up selection; it also notes that not all hunters can be selected there. Its weapon shortlist is listed above. Neither recommendation makes an item available in every live pool.

How to read these rankings in context
Pocket Gamer’s combined hunter and weapon list is dated October 4, 2026 and labeled version 1.4.46; Gacha Go!’s hunter list is dated October 1, 2026. Their labels describe those guides’ assessments on those dates, not an official game-wide power scale. Content, elements, investment, and subsequent patches can shift a unit’s practical value.
Netmarble’s September 15, 2026 Hunters Association developer note states: “We will build a fair environment where Total Power is more than just a number and holds true meaning, and where rankings can shine through rightful effort.” This is a statement about the developer’s progression and ranking goals; it does not make third-party tier lists official.
