AceVector, the parent of Snapdeal, opened below its ₹32 IPO price on October 5, 2026. Business Standard reported an opening price of ₹28.30 on BSE, down 11.56%, and ₹28.32 on NSE, down 11.50%. The headline’s “12%” is a rounded description of those two opening discounts—not a single price shared by both exchanges.
What was AceVector’s listing price?
The opening prices were close, but differed by exchange. Business Standard reported the following prices against the ₹32 issue price:

These are historical opening prices, not current quotes. A listing-day opening price is also different from the later closing price: The Economic Times reported that AceVector closed at ₹26.10 on NSE on October 5.

When did AceVector shares begin trading?
BSE’s listing notice, dated October 1, 2026, admitted AceVector’s equity shares to trading effective October 5. The notice identifies the scrip as ACEVECTOR, BSE code 544962, ISIN INE580P01029, and says the securities trade in dematerialised form. BSE listing notice 20261001-44, reproduced by NoticeBlue.

How was the ₹420 crore IPO structured?
AceVector’s IPO comprised a ₹287 crore fresh issue and a ₹133 crore offer for sale, for a total issue size of ₹420 crore, according to Business Standard. The price band was ₹30–₹32, the offer ran from September 25 to 29, 2026, and the reported lot size was 468 shares.
- Fresh issue: New shares issued by AceVector; proceeds were intended to fund company uses including marketplace marketing and promotion and technology infrastructure. Reuters-syndicated pre-listing coverage also named inorganic growth opportunities.
- Offer for sale (OFS): Existing shareholders sold shares. OFS proceeds go to those selling shareholders, not to AceVector as fresh capital.
The Economic Times reported that OFS sellers included SoftBank, Nexus Venture Partners and Foxconn. It said SoftBank sold shares worth ₹88 crore and retained 20.3%; Nexus retained 6.39%; and Foxconn’s investment arm, FIH Business Global Pte Ltd, held 2.81%. Those are post-IPO ownership figures reported on October 5, 2026. The same report said founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal did not sell shares in the IPO and together held around 28.52% directly and through related entities.

What businesses sit under AceVector?
Coverage describes AceVector as a parent company with three business engines:
- Snapdeal: a value e-commerce marketplace.
- Unicommerce: an e-commerce enablement software-as-a-service (SaaS) business.
- Stellaro Brands: a consumer brands business.
What did subscription and financial figures show?
Business Standard, citing NSE data, reported that the IPO was subscribed 4.93 times, with bids for 36,61,43,076 shares against 7,42,29,166 shares on offer. Its reported segment subscription figures were 3.38 times for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), 8.16 times for non-institutional investors and 4.62 times for retail investors. These are figures as reported by Business Standard, not independently re-presented here as verified exchange data.

Company performance figures in the coverage use different measures and periods, so they should not be treated as interchangeable:
- Reuters, in a September 22, 2026 pre-listing report syndicated by Business Standard, reported FY2026 revenue of ₹510 crore and a consolidated loss before exceptional items and tax of ₹37.555 crore.
- Business Standard reported a 15.9% revenue compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over FY24–FY26 and a 40.5% CAGR for the SaaS vertical over that period.
- Business Standard also reported that adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed from ₹27 crore in FY24 to ₹16 crore in FY26. Adjusted EBITDA loss is a different measure from consolidated loss before exceptional items and tax.
Why did the shares open below the IPO price?
The available listing-day reports establish the prices, but do not establish a single cause for the discount. Business Standard said grey-market expectations had pointed to a roughly 3% listing gain; that expectation did not materialise. Grey-market indications are informal expectations, not exchange prices or a guarantee of how a share will trade.

Ravi Singh, chief research officer at Master Capital Services, offered an analyst’s view to Business Standard on October 5: “Fresh investments from investors might wait for price stability. The outlook will depend on the company’s ability to sustain growth, improve profitability and cash generation.” This is Singh’s commentary, not a statement from AceVector or a verified forecast.
