Snagajob is a recruitment platform focused on hourly, part-time, full-time, flexible, and shift-based work. Job seekers can search and apply for free; employers can post roles and manage applicants, but public information reviewed does not disclose a complete employer rate card. A listing or profile match is not a guarantee of an interview, a current opening, or a job offer.
What Snagajob is—and who it serves
Snagajob has two sides: workers looking for hourly and shift-based jobs, and employers hiring for those roles. Its tools are built around finding candidates and applying, rather than serving as a general-purpose board for every kind of professional job.

Snagajob’s employer page says it has “over 6 million hourly job seekers with 700,000 employers.” That is the company’s own promotional figure; the page does not state when or how it was measured, so it should not be read as an independently verified count. Snagajob’s employer page
How job seekers search and apply
Workers can create a profile, search for roles by location or keyword, and use filters such as distance, availability, and job type. Snagajob says it uses skills and preferences to provide personalized matches. Its mobile-app listings describe map search, daily email matches, one-click applications, application-status updates, and personality quizzes used for job matching. Features can change, so check the current app listing for availability on your device.
#1 Best Overall
- Create a profile: Add relevant information and preferences. Snagajob says employers may search profiles and invite candidates to interview.
- Search locally: Enter a location or keyword, then narrow results using the available filters.
- Review the listing: Check the location, schedule, requirements, and any wage information before applying.
- Apply and follow up: Submit through the website or app where available, monitor application updates, and contact the employer to confirm the role is actively hiring in your area.
Snagajob says its service is free for job seekers. Some employers include hourly wages in their descriptions; others discuss pay during interviews, so do not assume every listing will show a wage. Snagajob’s Job Seeker FAQ
Why a posted job may not be an immediate opening
A visible listing does not necessarily mean the employer is interviewing right now in your location. Snagajob says some employers leave roles posted year-round to build a candidate pool, in part because of turnover. An employer may contact an applicant later if a position opens.
Rank #2
Before relying on a listing, ask the employer whether the specific location is currently hiring, what schedule is available, and when it expects to make a decision. Continue applying elsewhere rather than treating every posted role as an immediate vacancy.

What employers can do—and what pricing is public
Employer services include job listings, applicant tracking, and onboarding. Snagajob’s employer guide also describes creating and sponsoring a posting, managing candidates, collaborating with a team, measuring results, and setting billing limits. The guide’s use of “screening” refers to employer candidate-management workflows; it does not mean Snagajob independently screens applicants.
The public employer page invites small businesses with fewer than 100 employees to sign up and post a job. That invitation does not establish the full price, plan details, or eligibility terms for every employer. Snagajob’s employer terms say services are purchased under Sales Orders, which specify the applicable prices and rates. Ask for the order terms and total charges before committing. Does Snagajob verify jobs or screen applicants?
No. Snagajob’s Employer Terms state: “Snagajob does not provide any screening, background checks, independent verification or training in connection with Job Seekers and the Employer Services.” That boundary matters to both sides: a profile, match, or listing should not be taken as proof that a person or employer has been independently checked by the platform.
- Applicants: Verify the employer and work location independently. Be cautious about requests for money or sensitive information that do not make sense for the hiring process.
- Employers: Conduct the checks and training appropriate to the role and applicable law; do not treat a Snagajob profile as a completed background check.
Profile visibility and application privacy
Snagajob’s privacy policy distinguishes profile-building features from applications and onboarding for a particular employer. For those employer-specific services, Snagajob says it acts as the employer’s service provider or processor. The policy also describes profile-visibility settings and sharing application information with the relevant employer.
Review the current privacy policy and your account settings before making a profile broadly visible. Consider what information is needed for the jobs you want, and check which employer will receive information when you submit an application. Snagajob privacy policy

In a September 2026 review, TechRadar characterized Snagajob as a niche platform for hourly and flexible work. Its reviewer described their experience with the interface and support and judged employer costs potentially high for smaller businesses. Those are the reviewer’s assessments, not a measured result that applies to every user or employer. TechRadar’s Snagajob review
Is Snagajob a good fit?
It is worth considering if you are looking for local hourly or shift work and want a profile, job matches, filters, and an application route in one service. Employers hiring for hourly roles may find the posting and applicant-management tools relevant, particularly if they meet the small-business sign-up criteria.
