SMA Marketing Launches OrganicIQ for Growth Across Google and AI Answers

SMA Marketing announced OrganicIQ on October 1, 2026, as a single managed growth system combining traditional SEO with generative-engine optimization (GEO), AI visibility, content, paid search, local SEO, and business intelligence. Its goal is to help companies be found in Google search and understood or cited in AI products such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Monthly plans start at $1,000.

What is OrganicIQ?

OrganicIQ is SMA Marketing’s proprietary service for coordinating search visibility and marketing activity across conventional search engines and AI answer products. Rather than treating SEO, AI visibility, content, paid search, and analytics as separate projects, SMA says it combines them in one system and ties its work to a client’s business goals.

The company’s president and CEO, Ryan Shelley, summed up the shift behind the service this way: “Buyers didn’t stop searching. They started asking.” SMA’s stated aim is for a brand’s information to be machine-readable, trustworthy, and citable when people use AI systems to research decisions.

Does OrganicIQ help a business appear in ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews?

AI-answer visibility and citation work are part of OrganicIQ’s stated scope. SMA says the system is designed to improve discoverability in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, alongside Google search. That is a service objective, not a guarantee that a company will appear in a particular answer: AI products select and present sources according to their own systems, and the launch materials do not promise specific placements.

OrganicIQ also monitors AI answers as part of its monthly review. The published description does not detail a separate technical recipe for earning citations in each product, so prospective clients should ask SMA which activities it expects to undertake for their market and how it will document results.

How OrganicIQ works and measures leads

Each month, OrganicIQ reviews search rankings, AI answers, calls, forms, and booked jobs. SMA then turns opportunities it identifies into focused “Growth Actions” tied to the client’s main goal. Its reporting is built around business events and opens with leads versus goal, rather than relying only on traffic totals. For seasonal businesses, SMA says it compares results year over year.

The business-intelligence layer is intended to connect SEO, AI citations, content marketing, paid search, analytics, advertising platforms, and CRM data. That connection can help relate marketing activity to outcomes such as inquiries and booked work, although the announcement does not specify the underlying attribution model or how disputed or unattributed leads are handled. Companies evaluating the service should clarify which systems need to be connected and how a lead is defined for their business.

OrganicIQ plans and monthly prices

SMA’s product page lists three monthly tiers. The listed prices are service fees; ad spend for the optional Ads Accelerator is paid directly to advertising platforms and is not marked up.

Plan Monthly price Content each month Tracked keywords plus AI prompts Growth Actions each month Other listed inclusions
Launch $1,000 1 new item; 1 refresh 10 1 Analytics and conversion tracking; site and profile upkeep; visibility monitoring; monthly reporting
Lift $2,000 2 new items; 2 refreshes 20 3 Plan details beyond these listed capacities are not stated on the product page.
Lead $3,000 3 new items; 3 refreshes 30 5 Plan details beyond these listed capacities are not stated on the product page.

The listed Ads Accelerator add-on costs an additional $500 per month on Launch, $750 on Lift, or $1,000 on Lead. These figures are monthly add-on prices; the amount of ad spend itself is separate. SMA also describes an Enterprise option for multi-brand organizations, committee purchases, and companies spending more than $10,000 per month on ads, but does not publish an Enterprise price in the launch materials.

Which OrganicIQ plan is right for a company?

Launch: a smaller monthly work queue

Launch has one new content item, one refresh, 10 keywords plus AI prompts, and one Growth Action per month, alongside the listed tracking, upkeep, monitoring, and reporting. It is the lowest-capacity tier for a company whose planned work fits that monthly volume.

Lift: more content and actions

Lift doubles Launch’s listed new content, refreshes, and tracked keyword-plus-prompt count, and includes three Growth Actions per month. It may suit a company that needs more monthly execution than Launch provides; the product page does not describe a different feature set for this tier beyond the listed capacities.

Lead: the largest published monthly capacity

Lead lists three new content items, three refreshes, 30 keywords plus AI prompts, and five Growth Actions per month. A company considering it should compare those capacities with its number of locations, product lines, and priority topics rather than assuming the tier guarantees a particular result.

Enterprise: multi-brand or larger paid-search needs

SMA identifies Enterprise for multi-brand organizations, committee purchases, and businesses spending more than $10,000 monthly on ads. Because no Enterprise price or capacity is published, those details need to be established directly with SMA.

Who is OrganicIQ intended for?

SMA names B2B SaaS companies, manufacturers and engineering firms, defense and dual-use technology suppliers, commercial contractors, and home-services businesses as intended customers. Its local-search materials emphasize Google Business Profile, citations, Maps and local-pack visibility, and local AI answers, which are especially relevant to businesses that depend on discovery in a defined service area.

The range of named industries does not by itself establish that every tier is equally suitable for every business. A buyer should match the plan’s monthly content and action capacity to its locations, services, sales cycle, and internal approval process.

What performance evidence has SMA published?

SMA’s homepage reports four-year client aggregates of +40% growth in organic conversions, +125x growth in AI referral traffic, a 4.2% AI referral conversion rate, and an approximately 2x higher conversion rate. The page does not specify the year range, sample size, calculation methods, or independent verification. These figures describe SMA’s aggregate client data; they should not be treated as a forecast for an individual OrganicIQ customer.

How does OrganicIQ compare with other approaches?

OrganicIQ’s distinguishing proposition is the combination of Google SEO, AI-answer visibility, local search, content, paid-search integration, and business-event reporting in a managed monthly service. A business comparing it with an SEO-only provider, an in-house team, or separate specialist vendors should compare the actual scope and deliverables, not just the labels.

Comparison area What SMA lists for OrganicIQ What to verify when comparing alternatives
Google SEO Search rankings are reviewed; keywords are included in plan capacity. Which technical, on-page, and off-page SEO tasks are included and what is prioritized.
AI-answer visibility AI answers are monitored; AI visibility and citation work are part of the stated system. Which AI products and citation indicators are tracked, and what work is actually delivered.
Local search Local SEO is included in the overall proposition; related SMA materials discuss profiles, citations, Maps/local-pack visibility, and local AI answers. Whether profile management and location-specific work apply to the proposed plan and number of locations.
Content production One to three new content items and an equal number of refreshes monthly, depending on plan. What qualifies as an item or refresh, who supplies subject-matter input, and how approvals affect delivery.
Paid-search integration Optional Ads Accelerator add-on; ad spend is paid directly to platforms without markup. Which campaigns and platforms are managed, what reporting is included, and the separate media budget.
Business-event attribution Reviews calls, forms, and booked jobs; reporting is framed around leads versus goal. CRM and analytics integrations, lead definitions, attribution rules, and treatment of offline outcomes.
Reporting cadence Monthly reporting and monthly opportunity review. Who presents the report, what decisions it supports, and how changes are approved.
Plan capacity Monthly content, keyword-plus-prompt, and Growth Action counts vary by tier. Whether stated volumes match the scale and priorities of the business.
Target-industry experience SMA names B2B SaaS, manufacturing and engineering, defense and dual-use suppliers, contractors, and home services. Relevant examples in the buyer’s specific market and constraints.
Monthly price Launch $1,000; Lift $2,000; Lead $3,000, plus optional Ads Accelerator pricing. Included scope, contract terms, and any costs beyond service fees and ad spend.

Questions to ask before choosing

  • Which deliverables will the selected plan provide for the company’s goals, locations, and priority services?
  • How does SMA define a lead, and how are calls, forms, booked jobs, and CRM outcomes connected in reporting?
  • Which AI platforms and citation indicators will be monitored, and how will progress be reported without implying guaranteed inclusion?
  • What does a “new content item,” “refresh,” or “Growth Action” mean in the company’s proposed scope?
  • If adding Ads Accelerator, which platforms and campaign activities are covered, and what ad budget is appropriate separately from the monthly fee?
